i have found some molex mx150 male pins that fit perfectly into the fctory connector.
used some glue type heatshrink and tesa automotive tape to finish the instalation...

Ok guys stupid question but just trying to get my head around things as a newbie to car audio!

is there a difference between the front and rear door speakers? Will the same model suffice as an upgrade for both or do you recommend them being different?? If so, why!?

As far as I can remember front and rear are the same speakers, it's the amp that differs in power output for front and rear.

has anyone upgraded the front woofer and tweeter using an aftermarket crossover? How did you get the tweeter connection to the crossover in the door?

some ideas would be greatly appreciated

Under both front kick panels there are the main loom connections for the speaker wiring, get them from there.

Ok guys tearing my hair out here as well as tearing half the car apart!! Haha

attempting to install a woofer and tweeter in the front end with a crossover but have no idea which of these orange and green wires are the main output from the headunit and which lead to the tweeter and the woofer!!

any help is greatly appreciated.
Or is there an easier way to do it!?

thanks it is some help but how do I actually identify which of the three pairs of orange green wires are coming from going to?! I can’t physically see where there are leading to from the main wiring loom.
Hope that makes some sense and really
Appreciate the time u are taking to try and help me. First time attempting anything like this and a bit out of my comfort zone installing the crossover.

brill thanks. I actually have the door cards off at the moment. What do you mean by measure through? And what should I be looking for?

Do you have a multi meter? In my sub woofer thread i actually specify which pair to use. If you have multimeter then set it to resistance and one end on the door speaker connector, choose either green or orange,then measure the corresponding colours on the floor harness until you find the correct one.

yes I do. Ok thanks will do that. Then is it just bc a matter of cutting and stripping the wires to connect to the crossover ?
