PCP / Lease / HP??

Further update from my local Hyundai dealer - he's now not expecting anything in terms of residual value for figures/deals etc until next week (i.e. start of the new financial quarter). Not great comms in general is it, and lots of mixed messages.

I mentioned about some guys on here hearing the 29th as the date when we can look at cost per month but he's pretty sure now it'll be next week.

Many different experiences/info from many different people, isn't it?

To be honest the dealer at Cheshire Oaks was clearly guessing and was also unsure as to when the lease deals would be available on the system, the word non-committal sprung to mind. Hoping we get something on the 2nd in the new year.

Who is it you are dealing with at Cheshire Oaks? They are my local dealer and I am going on Saturday to test drive. So far I have been unimpressed by them.

Hopefully we will all be pleasantly surprised come the new year.

Yep I was told 29th by a dealer too. Also heard that there would be special deal on first few but no more info. Interesting that Drive the Deal were offering a discount of £3,734 for performance version.

Where was the drive the deal offer? I can't see it on the site.

I think it was Craig? Let me take it for a good drive to be fair! Better than most of the dealers down at Sealand Road.

Ive spoken to select car leasing today who think they might be able to dig out lease numbers on it, so I will compare like for like against a Gti PP and make a decision based on overall affordability. If I get any numbers I'll post them up on here.

I’m dealing with Craig too. Hopefully one dealer in the country will cotton on to this forum and start offering deals to forum members.

Please do keep us updated. Lease would be something I'd consider if competitive

Just waiting for my dealer to reply to my email. I've started a new thread for actual figures to make things a bit easier to find. Really hoping they will be competitive

I spoke to my dealer ealier.
He said PCP figures are up on the system but not contract hire.
He did add that the residual values on the system are not correct yet, they are waiting until Jan 2nd and the start of the first quarter to release everything.

That does seem consistent with what my dealer has been saying. Next week it is then.....

Is tomorrow the day then, that we get some real figures??!!

Or the 4th?
Or some other date??

Let's not get our hopes up too much, could be very good or very bad!

I’m hearing you! I’m just talking about the day when we actually get some cast iron figures not the actual figures themselves!

I’m kinda fearing the worst if I’m being honest (£400 plus, even with 1/2k deposit)....

I think the 4th.

My dealer told me they had been given a GFV for 36 months but it wasn’t correct as all that will be finalised for the 4th.

I did ask him what it was and to be fair he said he didn’t know but then said something like 8500. I nearly fell over.

For guidance a New Golf R is around 12500 after 4 years. So the N could be half that.

Hopefully the final figures will Be sensible. Because if the GFV is that low it’s going to be hard for anyone to own on PCP.

Or at least swallow on PCP

Guess we will know soon enough.

If GFV is too low then Hyundai will have to offer contributions, it’s an important model for the brand and they need to sell them. They have said that the UK will be the N’s biggest market.

It just can’t be 8500 after 4 years - my £23995 Kia Pro Ceed GT’ GFV is 9k.

By ‘can’t’ I’m actually crossing my fingers and toes when I say that! I know it can but sincerely hope not....
