PCP / Lease / HP??

Alright, after reading most of the comments I thought I would share mine. I got N Performance with Phantom Black on PCP. The deposit of 6k, monthly payments of £311 with 2 years servicing included and 8000 miles a year. I am not doing long distance journeys therefore 8k for me is more than enough. The GFV is £10.500. I hope this was any useful :)

I’m sorry but £6k is an obscene amount of money to pump into a PCP!! I’d put £2k in (MAX) and go on a cracking holiday with the other £4K...

Each to their own though!
 
I PX'd my VW Scriocco for £10k, and I took the rest over 4 years on a HP deal - I knew the salesman so they threw in all the extras and paintwork etc for free, I'm paying only the 27,995.

Hyundai now have finance calculator on their web site for i30N. Still no deposit contribution and 4.9% apr so unless dealers are offering big discounts can't see it working for me yet.

You won't regret buying one, trust me!
 
Those official calculators on manufacturers websites are way off. (in terms of its just black and white)

Go onto the BMW site for example and do one for their M140i or whatever and you’ll get astronomical figures.

Best just to have it out with a dealer.....

I got 2k off car before my px (think about 2-2.5k) 4 years. 12k mileage 329 a month.

My dad has just bought the same car in micron grey and he got the paint thrown in free (i.e didnt pay the premium).

I used car wow for best quote then took that into dealer to beat

Hi everyone, first post for me.

Currently drive an M140i, 2 and bit years into a 4 year PCP but want something more engaging and dramatic. Test drove an i30N yesterday and in spite of a very underwhelming test route, really saw the potential and moments of brilliance. So, I want one. Its kind of everything that the M-Lite isn't.

But, still working on the best deal. I want to move from one car to the other ideally with no or little deposit top up and same monthly amount (£350)

Best I have found is on Broker4Cars, which I have used in the past.

see attached, £23,633 with Micron Grey and Winter Pack.

BUT, I submitted my enquiry on Monday pm and I've not had a call back yet!

Local dealer managed to get down to about £25,500. They also offered me a diabolical part ex for my massivly spec'd 16 plate M140i with 13k on the clock. I'd need to sell the M140i privately which would give me about £1.5k equity against the remaining finance (which would have to be cleared first....)

I live in the UK not far from Bristol/Bath
