I'm thinking to get these in the matte dark gunmetal - how's the fitment on your car? I got 2018 fastback and wanting to go for 18x9 +40. I'll be running them on coil over. Just wanted to know since you've got these ones, do you think going 9inch with +40 offset with very slight camber would work?

Here's the best photos I have at hand that show the fitment. 18x8+45, sitting 10mm flusher than OEM wheels, is flush enough for me. I don't feel the need to step up to 245's and 8" is perfect for 235 and doesn't sacrifice the tyres rim protection. I also prefer a square shoulder to stretch.

I'm not an expert but I would expect 18x9+40 to rub on original suspension. With coilovers I guess it depends on how low you drop and how stiff they are but if it were me I wouldn't risk it. 18x9+40 will be have almost 30mm more poke than OEM.

There are a lot of owners with 8.5" et40 wheels. Some report rubbing, some don't (possible dependant on tyre choice and shoulder profile?). This would be my maximum although they look slightly too flush for my liking, almost protruding from some angles. Some like more poke than others. Personal preference.

Have you considered the 18x8.5 et42 GTC01RR's? They'd have 10mm more poke than mine.

That was really helpful, thanks mate! I got a mate with the GTCO2 18X9 +42 ive attached pics and they are on coilovers too. He only notices rubbing when on the track so 8.5" seems like a happy medium.

Did you have any Problems with with the wheel clearance or rubbing?
I want to fit wheels in the same Dimension on my Fastback (FL).

I don't get any rubbering but I haven't lowered my car. I think if the car was lowered id probably get some as the tyres do poke very slightly.

Hey all, I'm about to get some FL rims to put on my PFL. I just wanted to ask here to be on the safe side.. Is there anything I need to look for? Size, offset etc are all the same so everything should be fine right?

Hello did the same yesterday - everything worked fine - is all the same! Only the TPMS is still showing no values… But maybe this takes some time - never changed tires before…

Looks awesome! For me the tyre pressure started showing again after about 5 kms. Just drive a bit and it will come up.

Its either the GTC01RRs or the TSP06 that I am considering. Am going for a standard gloss silver. I want something that looks like it suits the car and I think either of these in a standard silver will do the job. May even get some Hyundai centre caps too if I can find any.

Another option would be to find some OE i30n wheels from the facelift model and refurb them in a gloss silver powder coat. I like this option as fitment would be OE spec, but I doubt anyone is getting rid of these just yet!..

Thanks dude, didn't know that - thought you could specify colours. Shame as they look great, but really want silver! And spigot rings – didn’t even know that was a thing!

TSP6 comes in a 18x8 ET45… Also comes in 18x8.5 ET50 so could consider that too…

No offense but why drive a semi and then put those heavy rims on them?! That doesn‘t really make sense in terms of performance. My 19“ setup is lighter than your 18“. Just saying.

I use them on my i20N, the OEM 18 inch wheel is 12kg, so it's just +0,5kg on each rim. Its just my temporary setup for next few week. Obviously i would like to buy lighter rims Protrack or OZ Ultra, maybe next year. I thought it might be interesting to know the exact weight of the OEM 18 N-line rims, so I weighed it.

Your honest opinions on looks and fitment advice much appreciated. I don’t want any issues with rubbing! All suspension will be kept stock. Narrowed it down to 3 options:

1. Rotiform RSE

+ Will remind of BMW days with this style and the centre cap! Plus the N has some relation to BMW in a way?!
+ Rotiform popular in Australia, widely available.
- Only comes in 8.5” ET 45. 16.4mm poke may be too much?



2. Enkei TSP6

+ One of very few wheels I can find in 8.0” ET 45 (10mm poke).
+ Also option of 8.5” ET50 (11.4 mm poke, 1.3mm closer to suspension struts), but unsure if this is acceptable?
- Expensive!
- Very hard to get hold of in Australia, will need international shipping.



3. Koya SF03

+ Custom made in Australia
+ No hub rings needed – custom centre-bore
- Maximum for 8.0 is ET43 (12mm poke). Is 12mm too much?
- Slightly prefer the look of the Enkei’s!

The Enkei ones id say are the best option. Are you lookng at 19inch? when you are looking at poke. i have fitted to my PFL i30N 19x8.5 with an ET40 and these do poke very slightly. Id say for perfect fitment they need to be either ET42 or ET45 at the 8.5 width.

Do you get any scrubbing on arches with those?
Only considering 18" really. What I meant by "poke" is distance outboard from standard rim position

I dont get any rubbing unless you hit a bump at a fast speed but mine is also not lowered. If it was lowered it may scrub a bit more over certian bumps etc. Had them for over 3 years now and still running fine.
