Hi
good video both great cars, I like the i20N, price, fuel economy, performance and when I drive over 1000km I can collapse the back seats and sleep in the back

Booked a Summer trip to North Wales last night - less than an hour from Snowdonia... should be a fun week and a good chance to really see what the car can do on the twisty bits :D
Summer your brave its bedlam lol I'd be heading down they have some far better roads if I am honest as i am north wales way

Decent balanced review in my opinion.

So which am I getting to replace my I30N?

Gone for the Polo GTI. As I need an auto for a couple of years, waiting on an op on my left knee (so you can imagine what the NHS waiting list is like!)). Not as hard core as either the Fist or the I20N but still a half decent steer. It should have hopefully been built in South Africa last week. Did think about another I30N with DSG, but sadly out of my price range now!!

I would go for the i20N everyday and I worked for Ford for 28 years and owned a Fiesta . Fiesta is a good car but for me the i20 is better and the i30 better again. Fiesta is over priced, bring back the 3 door. - they won't.

Yep agree with you there 27/28k for a fiesta is just ridiculously expensive, payed around 12k less a few years back for a brand new ST-3 Mk7 and that had the MP215 kit included.
i30n better than the i20n absolutely no doubt apart from it being a pig on fuel mine was just dreadful, current fuel prices i wouldn’t even consider anything above a 1.6 so it only really leaves two choices i20 or ST although the new polo if you’re after an auto does now look quite smart.

I20n can achieve 45 mpg when traveling if you wont exceed 130 km/hour. I have done it many times, and first time i did it i was in shock!
Yes with current fuel prices and those to come, 1.6 turbo cars with low demands in fuel are the best choice!
