i20N fuel economy

Is that a dash mat optional extra I see? Unable to acquire in the Uk - does anyone have any idea how? Really makes the car look a tad more refined.
We can get them here in AU, part number is below. Should be about £5 at today's exchange rate ;-)

I have recently ordered mine but I'm quite curious about the fuel economy at 120km/h - 130km/h.. I do a lot of 600-800km trips back and forth between Portugal - Spain. Can anyone tell me what to expect? I'm coming from a Clio V RS line 1.3L 130cv which usually does between 5.2-5.4/L

AU only has 110 km/hr max but for my first tank with mountains/ hills and country driving, I got an average of 5.6l/100 km. The return trip with lot of 80 zones, hills and work is now up to 5.2l/100.

Thanks these are quite a good numbers for normal driving! I cannot wait for this :D

The car can be very economical. But we didn't really buy this for economic driving did we?
For sure, however it’s nice to know for long trips you have an option to do good fuel economy, especially if you go into the Mountains where there isn’t a gas station nearby for like 20km.

For me is great to know we can do between 4.8 - 6.0 because one of the things we first start discussing once we go on holidays, is which of us of the couple has a better fuel economy (lol I always brought my Clio IV RS)

I don't have a city commute which is why I am 5.2l/100. However, my Picanto GT on the same trip gets 4.9l/100 from a 3cyl turbo!
I usually get 5.2L on my 1.3L Clio V, when doing 120-130km/h on the motorway! But 4.9 is insane, reminds me of the hybrid Fiesta.

Done that recenty. Estimate 6,0 to 6,4 liters/100km.

Mixed use with ~200km on motorway. The only problem here is math after filling it at a pump with 34 liters.

Move the decimal point 2 places to the right for the fuel making it 3400 and divide that figure by the 380.5kms = 8.94L/100km

Like the speedo usually reads 5% high , the estimated consumption usually reads 5% low. 8.5L/100km x 1.05 = 8.925L/100km

I don't know how you achieve those numbers below 6L/100. Even when I'm driving highway 120km/h I occasionally pass people driving slower by accelerating and exceeding speed limit. So my consumption is around 7.5L/100.

I guess you must be sticking to your limit, no overtaking, no accelerating, no fun?
