i think there's some OBD support, i don't think the ECU needs to come out either, i've seen TRS attaching the cables to the ECU behind the battery

yeah i think it soft bricks the ECU right now hahaha, but there is certainly something in the works, MT Tuning were messing about with the port earlier in the week and autotuners tool uses OBD2 and they have results from tuned cars so it's all a little bit uncertain

It becomes pretty expensive then given you have to buy their OBD scanner to put the tune on your ECU and you also have to send them the data for them to adjust their generic tune to suit your car - so it’s also quite involved.
If you live in the middle of nowhere I can see the appeal of a remote tune but if you can get to a tuner with a dyno that would be a cheaper, and better, solution IMO - particularly as the N75 tunes seem pretty tame.
There are a few people on the FB groups not sure if they are this site though. One got 251bhp 410nm torque, this was a stage two map with downpipe,sports cat, intercooler.
on my car I've got downpipe, 200cel cat, gpf delete and intake. I wanted to know though how reliable the tunes have been
A lot of the UK dealers offering the tune have got them ready for customers, I think a few have got a few things others don't such as stop/start permanent disabling or exhaust flap control. I think the general consensus after a few 1000 miles in multiple EU countries is that the tune will generally be reliable. I haven't heard of anything going bang yet, put it that way.

What happens when you take it to Hyundai for a service and they update the ECU?

Klasen also did it, or may they are the developer. But I find it very expensive for a simple flash map! The map is not optimized on street or dyno individually. So a simple flash map should be around 350-450€.
But will it brick the ECU too?
It has to be so that you can reinstate the stock tune and then flash the tune back yourself or it's a waste of time. That's what I had to do with my MX-5 ND 2L and I used to sweat each time in case it messed up.
