Wait... people take their cars to Hyundai for servicing ?

Why not save the drama and get it done at a local reputable performance shop then you can have all the mods you want with no risk of the Hyundai service manager screaming on your vehicle notes. Hyundai can not decline warranty if you service your vehicle elsewhere.

Tell me more about the IFX kit mate ! Mine goes on Tuesday with an exhaust resonator delete and I'm hoping it increases induction noise. There's just not many videos on YouTube with driveby and interior sound shots at the moment. The intake kit looks the goods though !

Be prepared for a large increase in induction noise! I also have the resonator delete plus the Kompact Dual Port BOV. I'll admit the induction noise has lost a tiny bit of it's initial appeal over time as this car is my daily but I wouldn't go back to the standard air box. This kit took me way longer than it should have to install but I wanted to be methodical in removing the standard intake and installing the IFX system exactly as the instructions stated.

Non car people who sit in the car often comment saying "why does your car sneeze (BOV) and hiss (IFX intake)?" I hope you enjoy your intake as much as I am, the car certainly breathes better and sounds mint.

Exactly what I wanted to hear !

I've been running the ITG foam filter with the airbox lid off so it did increase noise a bit but just hoping the IFX kit increases it even further.

So many people are running these kits but no one wants to share any videos, maybe I should do it and run ads on the video for some easy quick $$$ :D

There's a few videos of stationary revving but pretty much none of drive by/interior videos.

I'll try and make a video tomorrow from inside the cabin while driving through a tunnel.

Nice to know. Could you update on the diameter of the end that gones to the turbo when you receive it? Would like to know if it might also fit the 4" coupling for the Forge turbo inlet adapter. Thanks mate.
 
4" intake pipe and I believe it will.:) I'll know more when I get it. I've already got the Forge Turbo installed.;)

Are there any news from aFe about estimated production date of pre orders? I made my order and full payment first half of Dec 2019 but still no feedback about production dates.

I was told it had been shifted back to the end of February by aFe customer service and I would have to wait until March. I cancelled my order to free up funds and they were kind enough to honor the original pricing if I decided to get it once released. I eagerly await reviews on the intake but suspect it will be the one I ultimately end up with.

From what I understand even if it only alters the intake sound you'd need to get the part TÜV'd.

That, in addition to the police giving you trouble for having a loud car and in some cases not even accepting that the stock exhaust is stock, you're likely gonna have trouble when they stop you and inspect your car.

Then again, I'm running the ITG intake and not even the (Austrian) TÜV really seems to care so...
