As far as I know, Air filters don't affect your warranty, Hyundai even sell the pipercross now!

so how would they know they didn't fit it at another dealership?!

Depending on the insurance company you are with you *might* need to declare it though, I did and it didn't up my premium as I don't want the insurance company having an excuse to not pay out if I have an accident!
 
I want to get the Pipercorss air intake but I can't find it in Australia. Any ideas? Import it? No idea how much freight will cost. I did contact them but did not get a response.

No choice but to import by the look of it man. $90-odd for the filter, $20-$30 for shipping from UK. That be one expensive dust-catcher.

How?! I'd buy one today if I get it for £36 (can fit it myself though it literally takes seconds).
 
Well you can replicate having the lid on by pushing the plastic wedge down with your hand and on my Pipercross it still fits shite so just be wary of the issue that's all I'm saying. The fitting of these filters has been discussed earlier on in this thread.

What the lid does is to stop the wegde from working out with vibrations and the fitment is nice and tight with the original filter, see the difference yourself when you get the car back, make sure the dealer gives you your original filter back, well I would.

I thought the fitment was shit. Still wobbles with the slide fully inserted, if you push the filter down it’s solid so I just assumed the lid would provide the same stability.
