So is the Pipercross warranty friendly and if so is it worth changing the stock filter?
As far as I know, Air filters don't affect your warranty, Hyundai even sell the pipercross now!

so how would they know they didn't fit it at another dealership?!
Depending on the insurance company you are with you *might* need to declare it though, I did and it didn't up my premium as I don't want the insurance company having an excuse to not pay out if I have an accident!
