I've spoken with my dealer today, they already have 2 facelifted models, you can see and "seat on" but you can't test drive them... Hyundai i30N DCT is awaiting homologation, they'll be there for a while. I really don't wish to be the owners
Placed my order today. Excited is an understatement! Around a 12 week wait though as it's a manual with the N-light seats, but don't have to hand in my current lease car until another few months so not in a mad rush anyway.
I just hope that the homologation is going to be finished within a month. First you wait for your car for who knows how long and then you can't even drive it..so sad
Anyone on here test driven a 128ti? I wonder how it compares to DCT. I am starting to lose patience with Hyundai now..
Never sat in one but read a few reviews after seeing one on the streets. All of those reviews had in common that the car is just not good - neither on road and even less on the track.
Not to mention that it's slower AND more expensive than an i30 N. Its base price is about the same as a fully specced DCT right now
I was considering the M140i, but the new 1 series fwd I don't see the appeal...

Speaking of competitors for the N: I've read a few reviews of the new Cupra Leon lately. Seems very similar to the N, more powerfull, well specked and about the same price (in Belgium that is). I guess that's gonna be one to compare when it will be "changing cars time" for me, around januari.
M3 or Audi RS3 are my dream carsI wouldn't mind an M3, M4, M5 or M8 either...
But at my current pay i can "only" afford an N (I'm so crazy about this car its not healthy trust me)
I saw 2021 i30 fastback N. The shape of the exhaust tip has definitely changed.
Additional one interesting point is fastbak also has blue point button and stitch.
I don't understand why this version doesn't include the new seats or can't have the panoramic roof... discarded for me
Similar fast on a track (even a bit faster on most tracks) and priced i only see Megane RS.
A 128ti is no competition at all if u ask me plus it has a really ugly Design for me.
M135 is for sure but it has a much higher price tag. Assumed its a new car. If i where into buying used cars i might also have take a look at it.

The cupra is very fast, but it doesn't comunicate as much as the I30n, the sound is crap and the infotainment is like the golf...
The megane rs trophy Idiscarded it cause the suspension are so harsh for daily, and the non trophy version doesn't come with lsd.
The type r is ugly (for me), I love the GR yaris but it's tiny and also doesn't sound...
The only cars I have in the radar are: I30N 2021, M140i, M240i 2022 and GR corolla 2022.

The homolgation is supposed to be finished in Q2.
