Thanks mate and likewise for me too. Dealer even said they may not be told pricing/options even up to a month before launch. So yeah, really starting to irk me being kept in the dark.

And I put my order down Jan 25.

Really starting to consider going with an Audi S3 instead. Or selling the weekend toy and going with an RS3.

Yeah, no VAG products for me. Not really left with many options that are affordable to be honest. If I wanted to seal my soul I may consider the Golf R, but the Mk8 will be well over 70k.
So, I will shut up and keep waiting.

I've been told we might not get pricing right up until the day the car is in the showroom.

For example, the new Tucson is already in the country and being prepared for the dealerships, and it still does not have pricing. The Kona Electric hit the showrooms last week and got pricing on the same day. This has been the general strategy for Hyundai Australia lately.

It's honestly infuriating. I love Hyundai's cars, but their marketing and communication has been absolutely awful from my experience. Forcing you to decide on a price the same day you pick up your pre-ordered car is anti-consumer behaviour, IMO.

Basically, I dont think Hyundai is being anti-consumer - I think they're genuinely disorganised and befuddled on how to engage. Car companies are usually bad with communications, but I think Hyundai Australia are worse than most. Put bluntly, as an organisation they're incompetent. Sadly, nothing can be done until you get a AU CEO/MD who has some basic concept of Customer Experience. But then, this also might be reflective of the parent entity as well.

Well, you've just helped me - those wheels dont look good at all on Shadow Grey.

Also, the exhausts look nicer, but that rear bumper looks meh.

I think they wash out on the darker colours. On Polar White, I can see they'd be good purely cos of contrast.
