Australian peeps: our cars were transferred from the Thruxton to the Glovis Caravel during the stopover in Korea.

They're arriving in Fremantle tomorrow, Melbourne on the 16th, and Port Kembla on the 18th.

GET HYPED!

...... after which they'll be awaiting "the relevant paperwork" for several months. Get unhyped. 😭

PS - I'm praying for you and hope I'm wrong.

Haha yeah, that's the next hurdle... Typically it only takes 1-2 weeks for all the compliance stuff before delivery in Australia, though. Fingers crossed!

Funny, I was wondering why the Thruxton had been sitting in port for the past 5 days... Great news, know for the pricing and no more delays. If the card arrives at my dealer, I will be allowed to drive it with trade plates, even if it's only around the block!
👊 👊 👊 :p

It’s happening! A symphony of gun shots, I mean exhaust crackles and pops are about to hit Australian cities!

I'll be picking mine up next week Saturday (I hope).

I'm driving to Rijeka, Croatia the next day. That is 1100km so as soon as I get there I'll be doing a full detail and ceramic coating on my car and trying out the full power of it. Of course it is going to be followed up with some nice pics and videos;)

Also there is a new video from Hyundai.

I'm glad to hear that and btw Croatia is my mother land 😎
I'm wondering if we have to change oil after 1000km because I planned to go in the Spain this summer

As I mentioned before, I ordered mine as soon as the dealer could place an order (end of February) and the original delivery date was 01.07. and up until 10 days ago it was 28.06. To my surprise the car arrived at my dealer last week.

I don't know how car manufacturing works, but my guess would be that since the covid cases are down and the homologation is finished most of the cars that are already made are going to be gone by the end of the month.

So if they have enough semiconductors or whatever they need they are going to have to up the production in order to avoid longer wait times.

According to N-Performance you'll cars are on the way.
The first shipment of 2021 i30 Ns are on their way from Europe on board the Glovis Caravel and not far from our shores.

@mcb6110 did you see this??
Yes mate. Sadly my wait continues. My car (manual, not DCT) wasn't made until the middle of May (after the Thruxton departed). If I am lucky, the car may have made it onto the second boat. I will chase the dealership for an update next week. They last advised ETA mid August.

I checked the Freo Port web site yesterday arvo and shows planned arrival is the 12th at 6am - https://www3.fremantleports.com.au/VTMIS/dashb.ashx?db=fmp.public&btn=ExpectedMovements
