How does that work if they can't register to the 24th at the earliest?
Interesting, I've got no plans hand over money (refundable or not) to test drive a car I won't be looking to buy for at least 6 months!I've been told that test drives are available for customers at Hyundai Worcester, UK too - but only if they put down a deposit to buy the car they want to test. If they don't like it, they can have a refund.
Odd, but then everything about Hyundai seems odd![]()

You can put trade plates on an unregistered car, so I imagine it will just have temporary platesStrange I just don't understand how you can test drive if it can't be registered?

Several dealers in Brisbane are saying cars are ariving early July. Does this mean your car is on a second ship that has been delayed to 9th Sept or am I getting BS from the dealers trying to lock me into a sale?
Or maybe you're talking about the Manual?
In which configurator can you see this? It's really interesting, because in my country, they don't list anything about comfort package etc. That feature is listen only on the comfort package in the configurator so my guess would be no
So I got an update from my dealer today in Perth. My car is aboard the Thruxton which is due to dock on the 10th of June. Doesn't mention which dock. The vehicle delivered ETA at the dealer is 25th of July but they said the car needs to be "verified and road tested" as it's a new model and they gave me no indication of how long that could take
10th of June? That seems unlikely, considering the Thruxton is currently on its way to Ulsan. Even if it immediately departs from there tomorrow and heads directly to Australia, I don't think it could physically make that date.
The latest I've heard is that the ship will dock around the 18th of June, and then require a couple of weeks for compliance, inspection, and pre-delivery. That should mean customer deliveries in early July.
I wish dealers were consistent with their messaging. Feels like they're all just taking guesses.
They supplied me with a screenshot from their system which has the dates on it. No idea how frequently that information is updated. Hoping the cars are all ready for collection by mid July as I'm changing jobs which would make the finance a bit sketchy...

Guess the wire harness was just too short. Car would be too expensive with all the wiringThe funniest Thing is
We get the blind Spot assist on the Hatchback but NOT on the Fastback
Thats what i actually don't understand. Was there no space in the fastback?![]()
I just noticed, this seems to be the first thread on this forum to have reached over 100 pages.
Congrats!
So we're 100 pages in and we have had one or two cars delivered worldwide. Complete shambles is an understatement.
