i30 N 2021 i30 N

That's a fair point.

I do think the N-Line interior looks a bit neater and more modern than the N in that centre console area with the auto handbrake and the covered cupholders area/ front phone charging area. It's odd when the N is higher up the model range. It's all down to costs, I guess and the money going on performance rather than cosmetics.

Totally agree. I don't know why Hyundai made the call not the incorporate all the facelift interior upgrades on the N...?

If you are coming from an recent Audi, you will fall back in time a fair bit in a Hyundai. But you will notice this ones you get in. :p

I'm sure that's true, but it's getting the quality/price/fun balance right.

The Audi does have a great interior but it's a little bit dull to drive. It does everything very efficiently but doesn't really put a smile on my face.

My wife has an i10 and we've been really impressed with that, it's a cracking little car which is why I'm throwing away any previous badge snobbery and considering the i30N. I also think Hyundai are making some good looking cars at the moment. The fastback i30 is a great design in my opinion.

Manual gearbox and manual handbrake are absolute deal breakers for Me, fewer and fewer cars are offering them, especially at the performance end of things, it's all about the fun factor and You're never too old for a safe and well placed handbrake turn! 😃

Could not agree more. Says the man that's 65 this coming November 👍

Good man! I'll be 52 in December, We are the privledged ones that learned our driving skills before the advent of 'safety cameras' or revenue raisers as I call them!

I'm assuming that the new model will still have the electric wasp in a jam jar under the front wipers?

If so, then removal of that will be the first modification I make, should I get one.... ;)

He's talking about the little noise maker (sound generator) under the windshield cowl. :)

If you read through the thread you might think that people only want the car because of the exhaust sound...

Is this the Australian model? Then without OPF it sounds fine. With OPF will be a lot more quiet.

Unsure if a filter is fitted or not - it's definitely not a 'pure' Australian model, as it is left hand drive. That detail might come out in one of the various reviews/videos released tomorrow.

Hyundai Australia does a local suspension tune for Australian sold models, so they send prototypes for testing by the engineers here.
