Happy to see the decals on the car, way better than having them rott away somewhere between all of my stuff.Had front bumper fixed. Fitted new intercooler grill piece when bumper was of to fit snorkel.
There was still a visible mark where the fix is (impossible really not to be due to the crack location) but its all back in one piece.
Applied some gloss black vinyl over the fixed area, its the same width as the lower grey grill surround piece section, I did try and make it the full length of the intercooler grill piece but it looked "wrong" to me. Didn't tie on with anything else on the front.
Re-fitted the Hyundai "spectacles" and vinyled the top piece only of the grill surround gloss black. Again, something different and I did do the whole surround gloss black but again it was too much with all the other black bits, I think the oem grey now adds a nice contrast, I may change it again later on.
Fitted the pillar decal set I got from our good man @Bu11eT Really easy to fit, subtle and I've had to filter the crap out the pic to make it show up (just). The gloss black ties in nicely with the mirror caps and rear spoiler on a white car.View attachment 13963

I have been scouring the internet for months trying to find these. I have the i30N and I understand the boots are different shapes on the Velo and the i30, but do wherever you got them from sell i30N boots too? Such a nice, subtle mod but makes a huge difference! Looks really nice man.
I have seen ones such as these but I wasn't sure if there was a Hyundai Genuine Part available? If not then it's not a huge issue. I am looking to buy the Pipercross Filter so I can order these at the same time. Thank you to you and Loafer-N77 for your input though it is greatly appreciated.
No, these are N-Performance units made for the VN. Hyundai N-Performance doesn't produce them for the i30N.
Ahhh okay that makes sense. I've found one on eBay thanks to NULLOBANDITO so will order that ASAP and get it fitted. Annoyingly I can't seem to find the gear shift knob either. Any pointers as to where I might be able to pick one of these up? Sorry for the 21 questions I'm just curious as to where to get parts like this from. Thank you

My next potential mod might be the N Light Sport Bucket seats.
Yes which is what exactly what I am doing right now. Me and Mr.Kim have been in talks since early March and now we are both waiting to see if Hyundai of America will sell the N Light Sport seats.Oh you're welcome always!!
I have an idea Mr.s Kim can get them but the shipping cost would be outrageous. I'm going to wait until they are released with the DCT VN and see of they're the same as shown in South Korea. I'd like to retain the OEM airbag functions.
