Black Hyundai Badges

So today I noticed that the "chrome" part of my black N logo cover has fallen. Only on the front cover. The rear one is still in place. It's a shame because the shiny bit is what made it stand out now that it's black. I guess I'll have to DIY a new chrome sticker and stick it with a small 3M tape stripe.

Ya as @R Veloster N already stated that to me is a warranty job take a picture send it into your service manager and say it just fell off while driving they will either ask you to come in for it to be replaced or they will ship you one out or even better collect it and fit it yourself, if you do end up fitting it yourself you will need to use a 3M Primer adhesive promoter as without using the 3M adhesive promoter it will only fall off again. So take all the residue glue off as it is firm plastic same shape as the N make sure you clean it back to the plastic then apply the 3m primer adhesive maybe give it two coats wait 10 minutes for it to dry and once you apply the new N symbol the VHB tape that will be on the back of the N emblem once that VHB tape makes contact with the 3m primer it will be nigh on impossible to remove without using considerable force so either whoever applied it did not use the proper procedure or maybe someone tried to pull it off and succeeded. You can actually see the remnants of the VHB tape in your photograph what was left behind. It would say it was taken off deliberately.

It's not the stock N badge that has an issue. It's a cover from ebay. Already told the vendor what happened.

Does anyone know the best way to remove these with the intention of keeping them in one piece/good condition?

Quick answer: NO (not if you used the stuff that came supplied as it goes rock hard). I tried last summer and ended up just ripping them off. They are pretty fragile once stuck on there.

You could try getting some tar/glue removed behind the badge (quite tricky) and give it a few soaks before trying to peel them off.

Does anyone know where to get the N badge covers where the chrome is blacked out? I've seen them on people's cars on Facebook and they all say "i got them on eBay" but i can't find them anywhere?
