Sorry my bad I meant 10%. What's the difference in size compared to oem?It doesn't? Where'd you get that from??

Use code: dsc 10
(the space is important in there)

Bigger is betterBigger lol.
The dbilas pipe is 90mm, can't recall oem size (76mm?).
I plan on gold wrapping it and then fitting the Forge inlet elbow in the foreseeable future which is to suit 102mm(4") tubes so will require a bit of fettling. I think a standard 90mm i/d silicone coupling with a 5/5.5mm wall thickness will marry them together nicely.
Bigger is better
Gruppenewang do a 76mm elbow which should marry up to the dbilas

Installed one of these kits as well. Quality is superb, fitting is precise, sound is awesome. These guys also have or soon to be available an IC kit that’s complete bolt on zero cutting. Also a turbo upgrade in the pipeline.I have just purchased and fitted the IFX intake kit. It is Australian made and he sells them on eBay. I was looking at the Forge however I didn’t like the lack of hot air shielding, and the only benefit seemed to be the noise it would make. This was the only intake kit I could find with a box around the filter. Price was a bit steep at $670 but in my opinion it was the only one that should actually lower intake temps so it was worth a try. The bottom of the box stops at the edge of the chassis rail which allows cooler air to be drawn from the inner guard area. Quality is excellent as was the packaging and instructions etc. Plus the sounds it makes are awesome!! View attachment 8141
@loafer-N77 Pic from engine compartment?
So you're going from the turbo side (I think it's around 63mm) with the Forge elbow up to 102mm and then with that reducer back to 76mm for the dbilas pipe?
I don't know if that's very good for the air flow.
I still can recommend the HDT pipe. It's all the way 89mm (bigger inlet in development). Plus you have big hoses on both sides so no problem with moving engine.
Thought of buying Forge stuff on upcoming Winter Sale but after reading all this thread again I will stick to OEM Box, snorkel and HDT pipe (with inlet when finished). I think this will be the best solution in terms of performance.
Have you also checked the gruppenzwang intake pipe? They also have two different turbo inlets available.@loafer-N77 Pic from engine compartment?
