Mine was a bit loose too but a piece of cardboard behind the wedge made it snug. I have the dry version if that makes any difference.

Mine came oiled, think the likes of POTN and even Hyundai only sell oiled. Don’t know the reasons tbh.
I'm really surprised Hyundai made the pipercross filter a genuine part. I sold mine pretty quick due to its shocking fit. Perhaps they've corrected them now?
Nah the fit is still crap. Seems to remain solid with the lid on so doesn’t really bother me. Think it’s more the filter box design that’s poor.
Nope it's not the box m8 it's the filter its a poor fit. How can you tell it's solid with the lid on? Have you got xray eyes or something.

Well the OEM fits snug, as does the ITG one (because they utilise the OEM end cap on theirs).
Not sure if this was mentioned anywhere, but can anyone please confirm whether the full Pipercross Performance Induction Kit would void the warranty? Also I wanted to ask same regarding the Forge Blow Off valve? Much appreciate the answer 
I can confirm, "not here in the US as we have a Hyundai Assurance Track Warranty and it includes various aftermarket parts to include an Intake.

Not hard to work out if the pressure from your hand reduces movement then a cover providing a similar amount of pressure at the same height will hold it in place. Yeah it’s not the best but it is what it is.
I was really close to ordering the Pipercross without realising the poor fitment. Now that it has been made apparent, do you reckon the ITG is the way to go with this or should I stick to OEM?
Also is the ITG oiled also or a dry filter? Thank you

Since you're asking in the i30N section I assume you're not from north america, which means that warranty @R Veloster N mentioned wont be valid for you, hence: full intake and/or BOV will void the warranty (at least) on technically related parts (e.g. turbo).
POTN have been working with Hyundai to warranty aftermarket bits, hoping it’s more than the Remus they’ve hinted at. A proper intake and some sort of power upgrade (similar to mountune) would be ideal. Announcement expected any day now.
To be honest. The stock intake is very very good. There is absolutely no need to change this part in terms of performance.

It's very lightly oiled. But as we don't have MAF sensors to mess up it's no biggie.
It's much better quality than the pipercross but twice the price!!
Honestly I'd stick with the OEM filter and spend pennies elsewhere, unless if you want more noise then you need a full intake.
@Seano1878 doesnt change the fact that right now, you'd void your warranty by installing a BOV/air intake. Anyway, if POTN did get parts warranty approved, I hope its a little unsimilar to mountune since their parts are only warranty approved in the UK but not elsewhere. Would be nice to get the parts warranty approved in germany as well and actually i dont see any reason why a part should be fine in the US, Canada, or the UK but not in Germany or any other country.
