TarmoT 385bhp/526Nm i30ntracktoy - SOLD

I have no idea why I bought them because it is not a good everyday tyre and also not a good track tyre. So I can recommend for street PS4 and for track some proper semi-slicks.

Really? Majority of the reviews I've seen rave about the Cup 2 tyres. What's the wear rate like? Road noise? Performance in dry and wet like? Was considering them or Pilot Sport 4s as my next tyre. Its good hearing from someone who actually runs them on the same car your looking to buy them for.

What I like:
1. Dry grip on road
2. Very low noise level
3. Pretty comfortable run on street
4. Usable on very long race tracks
What I dont like:
1. No grip at all on wet conditions
2. No grip at all when tyre is cold or outside temp drops under 10-degrees
3. Tyre wears very fast even on normal roads (around 6000km and it will loose more than 50% in front)
4. Average grip on race track and will heat up very slow (much better grip tyres and much cheaper tyres available).

Thanks for that Tarmo! May go with the Pilot Sport 4s when my tyres go.

I have them and I agree with 1,2,3,4
but for me on wet conditions I don,t agree, you drive normal and there is no problem, when the tempreture is below 7 degrees I put winter tyers, I don,t drive on summer tyers.
My last these summer seson about 4500km with 4 trackday and there is still rubber for one more next week and than it's game over for them. On track when the outside tempreture is above 25 degrees tyers warm up very fast, but when it is around 18-20 degrees it need time to warm up. Our track is 4,2km where we have 2 slow corners (3 gear) and the rest is 4 and 5 gear full throtle
My mistake these year was first trackday on kart track where I overheat tyres and destroy the life on them in half, lesson learned for next sesaon

It is nice to have another oppinion too ;)
Everything depends also the region where people are from. For example we had 7-11 degrees outside during last 2-weeks and it was raining every single day. Now we have +17-21 again and there is no sense to use winter tyres.
Because I am driving pretty less, I have second autumn with Cup2 tyres and I am 100% sure that it will be last for me with Cup2 tyres.
The best option to have (my oppinion)
1. Set of wheels with PS4S tyres for 100% street use
2. Set of wheels with semi-slick tyres (tyre should be choosen by type of track you are driving)
3. Set of wheels with all-season tyres (tyres what will work perfect on low temps)

Whell our climate is now like yours, but by police law we must have winter tyers from 15.11 - 15.04 soo I have Conti Winter TS860 I think for winter time, and these seson have OZ Superturismo with Cup2
next year I will probably goo with your option, but with Cup2 for street use because we don't have too much rain in summer time and I have 2 other cars with 4wd
I just need to find best semi-slick tyre for the track, Cup2 is faster than R888 but you need to watch the pressure, my all 4 tyres have different pressure on track, my time is the same as Megane Sport with semi-slick and bunch off modifications, I'm faster in corners they are faster on a straight stretch of track, my N is stock nad that is for Megane drivers nightmare :)

If you want to try something else than Cup2 on track, I can recommend you to try Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R, Dunlop Direzza 03G or E marking Michelin PS SA20 or R21E

For now I will see how far I can go with Cup2, but I'm thinking for next step to go with SA20

It looks like I must make some adjustments on the name of my car topic.
Our last dyno run was done couple of months ago (ambient temp was 25,1-degrees). We managed to measure out 364,5bhp from crank.
Meanwhile we replaced out clutch (Sachs organic kit with SM fw), reduce 10kg of unsprung mass by brake discs and today we also installed HKS regaped spark plugs.
We had 11-degrees of ambient temp today and result left our mouths wide open for long time:
