TarmoT 385bhp/526Nm i30ntracktoy - SOLD

Wasn't there a post about the fact that the forged pistons of another 2.0L Hyundai engine have just the right dimensions for the N?

They had no single mass flywheel developed and that stage2 hardcore cover and pressure plate combo didn´t work long together with Oem dual-mass FW.
This winter NRC will develop also single-mass FW for that kit and maybe.... maybe they will also add some dampering springs to their plate.
For daily street usage, it is just too much hardcore.

So no recommendation for single mass fw when driving this car daily?
I want to upgrade turbo charger and clutch within the next months but I drive the car daily so it still needs to drive smooth.

I will recommend single mass flywheel and tried to explain that upgrading only part of clutch (keeping oem dual mass fw) does not work.
NRC stage2 clutch is not for street. You should choose Stage1 + single mass fw to use your car daily. Sachs / ZF kit is using same clutch cover as NRC but their organic kit (usable also daily) is way too expensive compaired with NRC kit. So if you want nice clutch for street, write to @HRE addicted, I will send him my Oem full clutch and they will make you one ;)

I managed to make one video from 100-200km/h run last weekend.
Because I had time for one take only, I was forced to use my son´s cheap action camera. My camera had dead battery and my friend who has measurement tool was away, so we must wait with proper video and measurement until next spring.
When watching video, I discover that I changed gear too early (on 6400rpm) but I think it does not make any big changes.
On 0:11:48 car reached 100km/h on 3rd gear
On 0:22:52 car reached 200km/h on 5th gear

I think time could be better when starting in 4th gear so you have to change only one time and save time there.
On video that should be about 12sek GPS. That's ok for just a "spontaneous" try.
With proper gear changing I guess you should be able to hit 10.8-11.0 GPS.

I am using Sachs / ZF kit with organic disc and sm flywheel at the moment and it is super good for daily. HRE still does not have their sm flywheel yet because I haven’t send them yet my Oem clutch.
I will send it next week and maybe they will make it quick after that. If you are more interested, write to @HRE addicted

Can’t do it yet because my installation is still in the middle way. I don’ t have my car at home garage and it is a bit complicated to finish installation if you have so busy weekends and your car is located 50-kms from home. I will try to finish everything during next couple of weekends and post pictures asap ;)

@TamoT, thanks I appreciate you doing so. When you have time, I understand. I'm really interested in doing the same. The I can ask you all sort of question like, how, when, where and why.:p
