$670 for just the induction kit, 6" POD RAM, K&N Filter is still pretty harsh on the wallet
that's why we made to options for people that don't want to spend as much
we are wanting to make high quality products what unfortunately comes though on the price. from my self fitting cheap "bolt on" products i know they are not great never really fit and don't look nice so didn't want to fall into that demographic of part at all. i take any constructive criticism on bored as new too making parts and we have a lot of exciting thing being tested and developed on i30ns her in Australia at the moment

These prices are disgusting o_O I’m going to stick with my factory setup until these companies stop smoking crack
Similar products for the ubiquitous Ford, GM and Jap vehicles here are a couple of hundred bucks cheaper, yeah - but they sell in such high volumes. The N is still a rare car. The free market economy will see this sorted one way or the other.

Now to the topic:

That K&N CAI looks weird in my oppinion. I fond 2 pictures from FB:

I have seen how much that engine moves back under heavy load, those guys should have steel bushing on their engine for using non-absorbed solution like this. No flexible connectors visible on those pictures :(

Another problem I can see here, is a cold air feed - there is none.

I understand this, and I understand the R&D cost. But come on guys how much R&D goes into making something half of us can fab up in our garages over a long weekend. We’re talking about a simple design with little more than two 40° angles of pipe a few couplers and a very generic heat shield design. With the addition of a 40$ K&N filter. I don’t mean to be rude. But this price gouging is just absurd.

What a wonderful development - they removed front bumper and discover that there is no air going to oem air box :D Wtf... if there is no air going to airbox, how those engines can work at all? Another thing is that there is also no air going inside of wheel arch opening. There are no openings inside of front lower bumper grilles what will leave air to go there.

TL;DR Air-"intake" is shittily designed and we need a hood intake? :D

The sound was terrible in my opinion. Just sounded like something was broken, not a nice whoosh sound more a high pitch squeal.

Just my personal opinion, you may like it. Try it!
That's strange, maybe something is wrong with yours..i have my cover off for 4 days now as its breathing better now and its dosent make any sounds apart from a faint turbo flutter in high revs...
