TarmoT 385bhp/526Nm i30ntracktoy - SOLD

Nice build, will follow up with most parts but not at that crazy speed.

Why aren't your removing the rear seats and trunk?
Looks like you're not going to use them and i guess this will save additional 50kg.
I'm going to remove mine when the cage get's in.

Had the Federals on my Golf 6 Convertible which saved me about a minute on the Nordschleife BTG compared to my street tires. Will try the extreme tires, too, if they ship to germany.

I don´t remember that I worote somewhere about not removing rear seats and suff inside of trunk :)
My roll bar from Wiechers comes with "no rear seat" configuration, so there will be nothing left behind front seats. Because of Time Attack regulations I am not allowed to remove door cards or trunk side upholstery. I must cool you down littlebit regarding weight what can be saved by removing rear seat and stuff in trunk. I made all Time Attack events last year without that stuff inside of car:

When I removed items, I put all stuff on to weight too - it was less than 27kg with spare wheel.

^Yessssssss... Is that 304 or 321 SS dimpled foil or some other material? I may do something similar or use ceramic coating, or both.

Hello!

Its 2 layer Isolation. First an special borsilicate fiber, then very thin metal which is welded together. Its much more efficient then ceramic coating. Here its good to see, how much temperature we have on the outside of isolated parts.

I thought your original project thread was your development thread and this was to be your summary thread. Not a fan of abandoning threads, but carry on. That cardboard looks sexy. Hopefully you’ll capture some logs and have before/after IAT data.

Because my car was on lift (not high enough) I managed to make couple of pictures from my new exhaust ( it was dark in garage and pictures are pretty bad - sorry) :

I also managed to make one video from sound but quality is not good and soon there will be better video uploaded:

Today I left my car to the tuning workshop. I hope that my custom remap will be ready in the end of week but nothing is sure in this world ;)
I spent 1-hour on dyno to make some measurements to have compairson between time when my car was 100% stock, when I had first RCP 200cel downpipe installed and situation what I have today.
My 100% stock run (26.06.2018) was 277,5bhp and 400,7Nm:

20.07.2018, after installing 3D-printed air duct and RCP downpipe (200 CEL cat), my car made 282,9bhp and 411,9Nm:

Today (20.03.2019) with stock ECU map, RCP resonated de-cat turbo back exhaust, Wagner Tuning IC, Turbosmart BOV and factory original air intake system without 3D printed air snorkel, I managed to get 291,3bhp and 409,5Nm:

We also made compairson test between oem intake and Injen intake, difference was +1bhp for Injen and no additional torque. We also made one more test without left headlamp of car and filter outside of engine bay - no additional power and torque.
So it looks like, with stock turbo pressure, that car just does not need more air than it gets with stock air intake system. AFR of my car went crazy after 5000rpm, you can also see it from video (lots of black smoke):

My tuner just sent me a message and wrote that it is the base, they will start to work now. There are still lots of parameters to play with inside of factory ECU map and if everything goes as planned, I might get my car back Friday evening.
