morning guys.
Quick question for the lucky ones who have their i20Ns!

what’s the fuel economy like? Motorway and town driving..curious to see how ‘economic’ it is!

on the fb group I'm in - "Hyundai i20N Owners Club (uk)" one guy drove from Dunfermline to Cairnryan "like a saint" and got 50.9 mpg. Most with Motoroway driving with Monday morning Traffic and Cruise Control for most of it and speeds between 50-70

That would be 4.6 L per 100km. Maybe downhill behind a truck.

I got the same fuel economy driving as if the car didn't have brakes, in eco mode. It's possible, it dipped to 4.4L but I didn't take a picture of that. But these cars aren't made to be driven this way. Perhaps if you're seriously low on fuel and you're not near a fuel station, then obviously this will come to save your day. N mode driving up and down mountain roads or flying around in general is generally under 10L for me, which is by far the most fuel efficient car I've ever owned.

Hello All,

For those of you who have collected your Hyundai i20N’s - What MPG figures are you getting? And also, range out of a full tank.

Here are my figures:

Avg 35.8 MPG over 5000 miles

I get roughly 250 miles out of a full tank… is anyone else getting this amount of range from a full tank?

Thanks in advance

I picked mine up today with 1/2 tank of fuel - got down to 15 miles remaining after 180 miles, filled it up and it was showing around 420miles to empty

Probably only done about 300 miles so far and getting as near as damn it 35 mpg at the moment.

Mine was showing 18.9mpg for the first 30+ miles when i picked it up, not sure if it was E10 they put in but got it up to mid 30s after 100 miles - the Shell i put in i'm hoping will improve it more

yeah I’ve just given mine its first tank of premium so we’ll see how it goes

i achieved 4,5 liters / 100 km and have posted in the forum before. Yes it can be done, and the mighty I20N needs less fuel than the small 1.0 liter brother. Incredible. But if you floor it, you can increase it up to 13.5 liters per /100 km!!!
