Do we know if the N light seats are a standalone option or are they only available with the Premium Pack?
That makes it close to $60k when on roads and delivery is taken into account. Fuc#k that, it ain't worth that type of coin.
The choice here is obvious.VW Golf GTI or Focus ST-3....
I'm beyond disappointed about this, I have looking forward to upgrading my car for a long time. Now I will have to wait months longer, to so say my opinion of Hyundai is downgraded would be an understatement. The choice here is obvious.
HINT: It ain't the Golf.
Yeah sorry mate, thought my comment may have been a bit "too soon". Look, I'm not a massive fan of Hyundai (as a brand) anymore either, but for other reasons. The car itself is a most righteous thing thoughI'm beyond disappointed about this, I have looking forward to upgrading my car for a long time. Certainly makes the pre-face lift look like a bargin…Yeah sorry mate, thought my comment may have been a bit "too soon". Look, I'm not a massive fan of Hyundai (as a brand) anymore either, but for other reasons. The car itself is a most righteous thing though.
I really feel for ya. All the build-up, all the hype and then...ugghhhh. I got mine for $43K driveaway (tin-top-zero-options-ticked) back in 2018 and that represented extreme value for me considering what I got and how much joy it has brought me. Probably would not have gone there if this was the first-gen pricing...
Thanks mate, real world problems yeah... Its not that I cant afford it, just really don't want to spend that much. Will talk with the dealer next week, but I have sent a txt with my thoughts.Yeah sorry mate, thought my comment may have been a bit "too soon". My exact sentiments, but no Clubsport in Fuc#ktardistain aka Australia!I joined this forum about 3 months ago as I felt fairly certain that I wanted (and would be able to afford) a FL i30N. I'm grateful for all the chat/info/advice that you guys have given but I also feel Hyundai have let us down. The pricing for the FL in the UK is much higher than I expected and the options limited.
I've been in touch with my VW dealer about a Clubsport GTi and that's my choice (I know it's the Devil to some!).
It will hold it's value better than the i30N and therefore offers greater VFM.
I may be back in 3 years time when used DCT's are available at a more sensible price. Cheers all.
does anyone know if the performance MT6 Facelift got a new bigger TURBO?![]()
shouldn't it be the same as the DCT version?![]()
As far as I've read the pre-FL model had the/an upgraded turbo a bit after the initial release already. I'm confident that the turbo is the same in both.I've heared rumors that only the DCT got the bigger turbo, but not confirmed yet
I agree, as an existing i30N owner I was hoping to upgrade early before my 4yr PCP expires but the price differential on the FL at present negates taking out another PCP at present. I wonder how many other existing owners will look elsewhere when the time comes for change? My exact sentiments, but no Clubsport in Fuc#ktardistain aka Australia!
