Nope! It is illegal for companies to void warranties based on people doing their own maintenance and service. I know this is true in the US. I would just make sure you keep a receipt of the oil and filters you buy and put a spreadsheet together with all of the maintenance you do with date, miles, and service performed.
In your warranty manual, they have provided a place at the back which you can log in all your oil changes. Again just make sure you keep your receipts.

Hey, everyone, I am about to do the cars first oil change. I just wanted to be %100 sure that I am using the right oil. I ordered some 5w30 Castrol Edge that has the most current ILSAC rating just like the manual said.

This thread will likely get moved, but in the meantime my only worry for you is the ACEA classification being A1/B1, A5/B5 whereas my manual states ACEA C2 or above. That said, I am certainly no expert on lubricants.
I'm a bit tired of moving and merging the whole day, because some new (and also old) members can't use the search engine. The forums fill more and more with duplicated rubbish because there are some lazy people in here, moving the whole work to the 2 active Mods.

Yea I saw that too, the manual also says that you can use the latest ILSAC rating which this oil is. so it's a little confusing which one they want you to use.
It is recommended as part of the fluid change and it’s a good habit to get into. But you could reuse it if you’re really a penny pincher.
Not too sure what the part number is. But I do know we use bulk 14mm aluminum washers.
Ok, I went on the forum called Bobistheoilguy, they are oil fanatics and It was recommended to me to use Ravenol REP 5w30. It is a high-quality German-made oil with API SN rating and ACEA C3 rating it's specifically designed for cars that are raced or driven very hard on the street, plus it satisfies the Hyundai warranty police on oil certifications. It is quite pricey here in the states i.e. about 50 dollars for 5L. It's overkill for the street unless you are really beating on it on some back roads but I dont mind spending some more money to have some more peace of mind. The cheapest place to get it is Blauparts.com.

REP might be a liitle more robust as far as ht/hs but I've been using Ravenol DXG and been happy with it. It's sn+ and d1g2, lspi is something I wanted to try my best to remove from the equation and I don't track it so the lower ht/hs will hopefully not be an issue.

Good to know, I make a habit of not putting my foot down all the way until 3k in order to avoid LSPI.....hopefully. Does your manual also say "API latest(ILSAC latest) or ACEA C2"? I figured since its SN rated it will be fine but I wonder if they mean SN+.
My manual says the same. While I think sn+ is a good spec for our engines I don't think it's necessarily included in the "API latest" called out. I think that just means SN, like you said.

What about Shell Helix Ultra ECT 5w30? I think this is the same stuff as the Penzoil?
Believe it or not the mechanic at my dealer freaked out at the suggestion of the stuff because on the shell website it lists the 0w30 version...even though we’re heading into summer and night temps won’t even drop below 15C. I didn’t argue and let him put his oil in there...
