Sheesh it's a tiny little thing. Like equivalent to those small engine oil filters.

At 50k miles I had a creeping concern that maybe I've been pumping gas from some gas stations that have a lot of gunk and grime (maybe committing a fallacy here and I mostly pump Costco tt.)

This thread was mostly to stir a google hit, build extra data on this car. This discontinued car.....

How much did it cost? I take it there's an access hatch under the rear seat on the veloster?

I bought it for $65 on Amazon Prime from a big OE vendor. I decided to look on google and it seems I could have gotten it maybe $10~$20 cheaper depending on shipping.. Not sure why I picked amazon then.

And yes its on the tech manual. fuel pump assembly right under the rear seat :cool:

Best change it when the tank is 1/4 full or less. Do it outside or in a well ventilated place. I know on my legacy it was spring loaded and you had to hold it down when undoing the bolts.
