I purchased the exact same from that german seller and it works for me, if you do it the right way of course, doing it as you have stated will never work of course.
I removed original tape from the N Emblem as it is hopeless reapplied with 3m double sided tape as it has a lot more tack slightly thicker and I know it is more than up to the job as I have used it on other projects and it has yet to fail so I have faith in it then I applied the VHB 3M tape on top of that cut to shape bit of a bollocks to do but achievable applied the 3M primer to my side skirt N waited 5 minutes then reapplied a second coat to the N cut-out waited 10 minutes to let it cure then applied the decal after it has been applied for 24 hrs it is virtually impossible to remove seems to be a permanent job and even the vandals will have a hard time pulling it off as it looks like the plastic side skirt will come off with this N emblem as it is a permanent job, so no worries ever losing this N emblem. By the way with this 3M primer once you apply the VHB tape to whatever surface the tape just sticks on instant contact to pull it back off will require some force after 7 days it becomes one with the surface forming a permanent bond. Well pleased.

Just applied my sideskirt decal / aluminium plate things. My kit appears a little different to what I've seen on here.
Stuck them on today despite the cold weather (the kit recommends 18 - 23 Degrees)
Hopefully they stay on, going to check them in an hour to see if they come off easily. if they do i might attempt to use additional adhesive. they look great though!

If you cleaned the plastics well and applied the primer correctly i think nothing will get them off

I had an interesting little stick which you break a liquid vial inside to release whatever is in it.
I cleaned the skirts with soapy water and then dried, cleaned again with the cleaning cloth provided and then applied the primer. waited 5 mins and then applied the decals / aluminium N.
I think it should be good to go.

For next time you apply any sort of sticker remember, wash, dry, then wipe with some 70% IPA always does the trick to make the surface ready for bonding And yeah that stick is the primer good stuff!

Maybe you can measure the dimensions of the N impression on the side skirts and place it here ?
This way we can compare it with measurements of the ones on the pre-FL.
I just stuck mine on and they are still there. Fitted similar ones to my previous i30N and they were still on when I traded the car in over 3 years later. I guess if you are really worried then maybe add some adhesive.
Does anyone know the colour code for the Red Inlay on the side skirt or where i can get a replacement? I have a scuff on the left side and it has pulled the paint back, so just need to touch up the red inlay. The car is blue i20N.
