I dont want to be that guy, but tyrereviews.com are still subjective. They arent calculating metrics on friction and such. Its partly butt-feel. Also sounds like its backed by revhead dentists.
Now having said that we have to trust in experience of people who have driven a lot of tires and maybe their butt has a lot of miles on it. Are they always driving the same kind of car and on the same track? This is where preference from person and place can overrule the winner in a test that involves just one reviewers experience.
Honestly, when my tires are due, i'm throwing my chips on goodyear asymm 6. I personally feel like it suits my preferences and my locale. Hey, the following set may be conti sc7.
I'm still reminded of my bridgestone experience where others praised (to the point of arguing) what i considered to be a disappointing tire (i'm not saying all bridgies are like that, just the ones that i tried and got rid of while they still had tread left on them).
"Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 generally offers superior longevity compared to the Continental SportContact 7."
"The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 offers significantly superior rim protection compared to the Continental SportContact 7"
"In aquaplaning tests, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 generally demonstrates superior resistance compared to the Continental SportContact 7 (SC7), particularly in curved scenarios"
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymm6 costs less than conti sc7.
Theres 4 "tests" that lean to my preferences between asymm6 and sc7. Depending on what tests i focus on i can claim asymm6 is superior, despite someone else showing tests that rate the sc7 better overall...
