I know that is something to consider as well.
I'm curious how vw is going to know about owners and if they are tracking the car?

They probably wont, but it isn't a risk i want to take.
I guess with people these days wanting to post everything they do online for everyone to see it is easier for a dealer/manufacturer to check these things.
