New i30n owner here and just checking if anyone has recommendations for a tuner/workshop, preferably based in eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Long story short, I purchased a second hand face lifted i30n from a dealership (not Hyundai) a month ago and attended to Hyundai's recall notice for ECU and high pressure fuel pump. All that was applied was a software update and the car has since had a check engine light flick on. Looking through the previous servicing receipts, I called the mechanic (Sydney based) where previous owner had taken the car to and they advised a stage 2 custom dyno tune had been applied and the car likely has a downpipe inefficiency code. Their solution was to bring car in and have the tuning files loaded back onto the car. Only problem is I live in Melb and the tuner is based in Syd.
If anyone has suggestions on who can assist, that'd be great.
