You buy a $225,000 Porsche GT4.0 with 20 inch rims over here and they are not forged but for some weird reason it uses forged titanium conrods instead. You have to move to the RS to get forged wheels and the cost is eye watering.
Yeah the forged wheels are a bonus but its cheaper to go 2 piece directional brake rotors for weight savings and you get an actual performance increase with better brakes at the same time.
Would never waste my money on swapping out a perfectly good set of 19 inch wheels, that money is better spent on better quality tires, certainly not for the road anyway if you were going to turn the vehicle into a track car, sure but then you are probably changing them for wider rims.
Hell if they made some ceramic front rotors for the i30N I would be all in, then you get some serious rotational mass and unspring weight reduction.
