In the end I have replaced the rear emblem without dissembling the entire back panel. So I thought to share this with you because I think many people would like to do it and there isn't much information on the internet.
Before starting I would like to tell you that the emblem will stay in place without any glue or adhesive tape(as other stated already), but it will be easier to remove by anyone if the clips are not in place. Also the clips will travel through the panel occasionally when close or open the boot.
These are the clips:
I have kept the original emblem without clips for half a month, traveled fast and slow, hit potholes, rode speed bumpers, washed the car and it did not fall down.
Now let's begin the story...
The tools you would need are a finger nail, a debit/credit card, a flat malleable plastic stick and maybe some fishing line or a piece of string. I used these things cause I did not had professional tools for plastic dissembling. If you have tools, I think it will be easier.
I have started from the left side of the badge inserting my finger nail inside the emblem between the left edge and the H logo and in that opening I have inserted the flat plastic stick from the picture:
After that I've made the opening between the panel and the emblem a little bit bigger and inserted the card on the left side and also a string:
With the help of the string and flat plastic stick, I have pulled out the badge carefully from the right part of the panel, going from left to right. You have to pull slowly and try to keep the card on the other side, so you pull somehow even from the both sides. You will probably hear the clips falling down from the badge sticks that are inserted in the panel at one point.
I heard the clips falling two times despite being 3 clips. After that you can slowly pull it outside using the fishing line or your own hands. This is how it looks after removed:
The center holes are a little bit bigger than the emblem sticks. Don't know if this was a manufacturing error on my car or if it's the same for all. Here is another picture from above the trunk were you can see the badges sticks:
In the end you can slowly push the other badge in the panel. As I already said it will not fall even without adhesive, but I added some double sided adhesive tape on the center sticks just to be safe from thefts. As I said it's easier to remove if the clips are not in place as the holes are slightly bigger than the sticks.
This is the final outcome on a rainy day
As a side note you can spray some water on the panel, not to scratch it, but if you are careful you will not scratch it anyway.
I hope this will help you and make some others life easier. Cheers and Merry Christmas!
