How To: Headunit firmware & GPS navigation maps update

Anyone saw changes with displayed speed limits ? Like in: correctly read / recognized and from map data ? Neither works on a brand new i20N Performance, we just bought (sw and map data from summer 2023): also: petrol station POI display in map doesn't work. Has somebody seen these re-appear after the software update ?

The speed limit issue has now ben fixed in the latest update. Petrol station POIs are also ok.
I installed the update and noticed MUCH better behaviour with speed limits (needs more verification over time). I don't see the petrol staizons, displayed on the map (like super markets, museums, etc.). Maybe I need to wait for a deeper "reset" of the car. I also haven't noticed the "automatic vent close in tunnels", but I HAVE noted the expanded menu in the map, where you can directly locate POI's (including petrol stations, btw... ;) )

Hi all, I recently got the sw upgrade for my pre-facelift Fastback - the one with the ugly generic car graphics.

What I notice is that on startup of the car, scanning the USB drive for music seems to take quite a lot longer than before (I have relatively a lot of music on the USB drive). Anyone noticed that?
Just want to come back to this problem - turns out it was the USB stick. Seems over time it developed a few bad sectors, as I could not read all files from the stick, and even on a Mac, reading the folders took a long time. Guess USB drives really do wear out faster on the blocks where the folder structure is stored.

Anyway, a full reformat of the stick sorted it out.

When I use the Hyundai update service/website it automatically reformats the drive before downloading the new software.

update: promised “gas stations on map” features did not appear after waiting, with one exception: Esso is on the map. Meanwhile updated second i20 (my daughter’s car). Same behavior.

Do you have "Auto-display filling stations when fuel level is low" selected? If so, deselect.

I am almost sure I have it selected. cant wait to check (when the new day has dawned). Will keep you updated…
