How To: Headunit firmware & GPS navigation maps update

I have the Russian version which is for the Tuscon with Gen5 head unit running Mobis software, I've changed the necessary files from the RU version to EU but I've been too busy with work to install it yet. You can download the Hyundai software and choose Russia as your country, English as the language and download directly from Hyundai.
The program is called "navigation Updater" Here's a screenshot.

Hi all

Can someone help me - I've downloaded the Google Zip from the first post and I have one zip file with a bunch of folders and files (see image below)

From the description above the files it says there are both files (software & maps)

Post below mentions both maps and software

Hi all

I think I know why - I just have the firmware and software ZIP and need to get the MOBIUS maps one now. Wow these files are huge....! My Seat was only a few gig

I set these up as two seperate folders.
The maps are these files

The software are these

This is not the full install for all models but just for Gen5 Mobis.

Looks like I did just get the software/firmware ZIP and left out the maps. Getting those now and hopefully all goes well and I dont brick the headunit!

Hi All

I've updated the software and the maps today. All working fine - some nice new features in there and some that were missing on the I30N compared to my previous car so that's nice :)

I particularly like the traffic information on the RHS when on a journey. Gives different colours depending on traffic speed.

I haven't had a proper look yet but I have a funny feeling i have the older V112 rather than the latest one. I got the ZIPs from the Google links at the bottom of post #1 but have looked through every post in this thread and think I could update further (or maybe wait for 2021 to come soon!).

I like the bluetooth streaming has a progress bar, map colours and petrol prices. Loads of nice features especially when connected to the phone you have speed cameras - great system and amazing car (2019 I30N Fastback)

Send a screenshot of your info screen, that shows the release date in a backwards format.

The latest 2020-2 software download is much smaller than usual as it's mobis specific.

Yeah I've read about it and tried the German forums for the link but none of them work any more. Just say file not available.
Is it worth going from 2020-1 to 2020-2?
Anyone have a Google link to - 2?

I'm zipping the 2020-2 software for you and I'll upload it to Google drive and let you know when it's available, that's if I don't f**k it up.
