It should work fine, as we're all N owners on here you need to get the full software release, the very latest one referenced here is only suitable for mobis software, this includes the Kona.

As far as I know it only updates from an sdcard. I bought two from Amazon. One for the software the other for the maps. Format as fat 32 and extract the software and copy to a card. You MUST leave your engine running throughout, eject the sdcard in the car and insert the software one, it takes about 20 mins. Do not interrupt or remove until it says it's finished. As far as I know all this software is for navigation equipped cars I'm afraid you'll have to visit your dealer. If you've already got a usb thumb drive you've got nothing to lose by trying it but I don't hold out a lot of hope. Someone else with a i30n without a navigation system tried it and it did nothing.
There are two distinct types of software, mobis and LGE.
All I30N use mobis. I think yours uses LGE. So you need to get the correct one for your car.

The Kona is a mobis device. So the software listed here will work for you.
Remember to follow the correct procedure exactly, format as FAT32, leave engine running throughout the software update, turn off stop/start.
Don't forget to activate the GPS speed to show on the main screen.All working spotless. Thanks for the help again

First of all, thanks for sharing the updates for the software and maps!
I have a slight problem with the torrent, there is only one seed and my download has stopped at like 1.3%, is there any chance someone could either seed it or provide a Google drive link?
EDIT: I should have added, the latest software, I have the one from the OP which is working fine, just want to update to the version in post #223.
