Front Camber Options for PFL i30N Hatchback?

Hi everyone,

I have a 2020 (PFL) i30N Hatchback and need more front camber for track days to stop wearing out my tire shoulders.

Since this is still a street car, I want to avoid the harsh metal clunking and NVH of racing camber plates. I also do not want to use camber bolts due to reliability and slippage concerns under heavy track loads.

  1. Can I directly retrofit the Facelift (FL) front control arms to get more camber? Are they a direct bolt-on swap for the PFL Hatchback?
  2. Are there any other recommended setups (like offset bushings) that provide a good balance between track performance and street comfort?
Thanks for any advice!

1. The FL front control arms will not give you more camber
2. Have a look at the bushings from powerflex, they offer offset ones.

By the way, camber bolts cannot be used on the i30N ;)

Only options for more camber are different strut tops or offset bushings

Thanks you! You just saved me a lot of money and trouble. Good to know that the FL arms alone won't do the trick and that camber bolts are completely out of the question for this chassis.

I’ll definitely look into the Powerflex offset bushings instead.

Thanks again for the valuable info!
