I have an annoying rattle from the passenger front door panel, if i pull the door towards me when driving it quietens so i'm guessing the panel is catching on something behind?

I've just ordered some sound deadening (foam) to stick to the back of the door panel to cushion it from what's behind and also some deadening pads to stick to the metal door skin while the panel is off.

Has anyone else done something similar and did it cure it?

Does anyone have any instructions for removing the panel and any photos of what's behind so i'm prepared?

Thanks

I’ve removed the inner panel a number of times to work on the audio and it’s actually amazingly easy. First thing you have to do is to remove the tweeter sail panel. This is just clipped into place. Use a plastic pry bar to gently easy it off in a number of places and it will just pop off. The wire for the tweeter has a connector that can be unclipped. If you then look at the centre of the door trim, just below the handle, you will see a small square panel that can be popped open with a small screwdriver. Behind that is a posidrive screw and this is all that holds the door panel in place - other than a bunch of clips. So undo that screw and then gently pull the panel away from the door to release the clips - now lift it up and off to clear the top of the door - unclip the internal wiring and the door handle linkage. It’s actually rather nicely made.

I didn’t follow a YouTube video as it was so easy - but it would be the same as a standard i20 bc3.
