Hey guys,

I've been lurking around and posting a bit here and there since I ordered my little N. But since my modding list became fairly long (it's mainly smaller things, but it adds up quite quickly) I figured it would make sense to make a project thread on my own :)

Observed something interesting today. Since I have the wheels and springs installed, the torque steer is close to zero. Maybe thats of interest for some of you who are thinking about modifications regarding the driving behaviour of the car...

Just lower and a bit harder. I personally even think the cornering is a bit better, not sure its just because of the springs, as I did springs, wheels and anti roll bar in the same move.
Torque steer however is nearly completely gone with the new setup. I am pleasantly surprised with that!

Today and yesterday was part 1 of my Frühjahrsputz ("spring cleaning"). Part 1 meaning the outside - Part 2 ist planned for tomorrow and will be about the inside.

The whole of part 1 took me about 8 hours in total.

The process:
1. Fully cleaned the car.
2. Clay barred the car.
3. Polished with gloss finish polish.
4. Decontaminated the car.
5. Coating: Applied two layers of Gyeon MOHS to the paint and one layer of Gyeon Trim to the plastic parts. After 24h I applied one additional layer of Gyeon Cure.

I always love when I am coating my car. You learn a lot about the outside design elements, especially those who look good, but are a pain in the a$$ to get coating onto. But in the end it worked quite well - at least for my second polishing/coating ever applied by myself ;)

Regarding polishing: Used Koch Chemie SF6.01 for the rougher edges (only found two of them on the rear where I removed the badges) and afterwards Menzerna SF3500 on the whole car.

Final pics will follow as soon as I've got time to take them :)

Took awhile for all those pics to download on dodgy holiday acccommodation wi-fi and clunky old tablet, but well worth the wait. Spectacular .
