This weekend it was camping time at Spa-Francorchamps to watch some WRX. First time sleeping in my N for me and I must say it worked pretty well considering I am 190cm tall! Had to remove the rear strut bar but everything else worked like a charm! Could even stretch out my legs.

It worked well, however you need to lay down diagonally in the back and one of your front seats needs to be in the most forward position. I filled the legroom with some stuff and put my sleeping mat on top.

I just have to look for a proper car sleeping mat now. The one I've used didn't really fit that well...

I had a bmw touring and slept in that a few times and wasnt that bad. I hadnt thought about sleeping in the N but now I will lol

Went to my first service at 10k km today. Only took 2 hours, the following stuff had been done:
- Update of the navigation system to the newest version
- Oil change
- Programming of "Remote Window Closing" feature.

My dealer told me the "Remote Windows Opening" feature is no longer shown as an option on the service tablet. He even showed me the tablet and these were all the available options (in german unfortunately):

Also asked regarding the issue I am having when changing gear from 5th to 6th. My car is not affected by the issue for which a service bulleting exists, as it is too new for that.
My dealer told me he observed the hard shifting when moving my car - he told me to observe it and to report back when it gets worse. Not really satisfied with that...

Love the car! It seems that you and I have similar taste because I am ordering mine with the same packages and have similar upgrades planned. I still have a couple months before I can order (waiting on my neiderlassungsbrief). Might wait for the 2020 model. Or try to get a deal like you did for a 2019 when the 2020's come out. Currently the best deal for a fully loaded N around Frankfurt is 32K...:(

If I can ask, how muck was the 10k service? I drive 30+K a year between Frankfurt and Büdingen so I'm thinking it could get expensive.

Hmm interesting. I’ve noticed after driving mine for a longer time now, that the 6th gear issue mostly happens in N/Custom mode. When driving in Normal, it has rarely occurred for some reason.

Mine seems to be related to the temperature of the oil. When the car is cold, the issue keeps appearing more frequently.

Still gonna keep an eye on it. Right now it's not super annoying, but I still don't like it. Maybe I'm gonna make a bit more pressure at my next visit at the dealer.

Thanks mate, hope you get well soon, your N waits :D
I've been literally cleaning mine each weekend. Sun is shining on the weekend and on mondays its raining, so the whole work just gets ruined again :D
But I'm having fun washing mine, so there's that
