Brakes Bremsen Performance schlecht bei Nässe und Cruise Control

Moin,

Ich hatte gestern zweimal eine Spannende Situation:
Nach längerer Fahrt auf Autobahn und dann Landstraße bei Regen (2,5 Std.) musste ich in der Stadt mit Aktiven Cruise Control manuell bremsen, da jemand sich spontan entschied noch abbiegen zu wollen

Problem: Die Reibungs&Bremse war quasi nicht vorhanden. Zum Glück hatte ich genug Abstand, knapp war es dennoch.

Nach abschalten der ReGen kam die Bremse langsam wieder ins Leben und Performte dann auch wie erwartet.

Die Klötze und Scheiben haben gerade mal 2.000 km gesehen (wie der Wagen auch )

Bei dem Normalen Ioniq 5 HTrac hatte ich nie das Problem mit zu kalten/nassen bremsen.

Ist das ein bekanntes Thema?

I'm not fluent in German, but from what my translator tells me, yes I have had similar experiences in my I5N. I drive my I5N year round, in the cold, snowy, wet conditions of Northern Ohio / USA. The initial braking performance can be quite bad in these conditions. I believe this problem is compounded by 1-pedal driving, because the brake pads rarely get a chance to heat up. I can get all the way to highway speeds without once engaging the real brakes. If I had to guess I would say these pads have very poor cold performance, more track inspired pads, they require a little bit of heat for them to work, and when they are cold they are basically rock hard and have little bite. When I start driving in these types of conditions I often will enable the brake rotor clean mode and try to warm up the pads on side streets, I'll also do the same thing at random "safe" times during my commute. If I do have an issue the best bet is to mash the brake pedal as hard as possible, the pads warm up quick, initial bite can be alarming, but eventually they do bite hard.

Thanks mate. Well as some German users are here, I thought I could post in German. But it seems you understand my issue quite well

So maybe changing the brake pads to something more daily compatible (as I dont use it as a track tool) should do the trick?
