Mounted with double sided tape, factory very strong!
You can heat up with a heat gun, but you will heat up your paint to so try to avoid to damage your cam holder.

When you heat up just use you'r common sense, don't make it to hot and don't use sharp tools.

I suppose he's speaking about the Hyundai "H" badge and that is additionally fixed by two pins (and glue?). The "i30N" and "Hyundai" letters are just glued.

You can also buy covers on ebay

Correct!!
The pins in the rear are only for correct mounting. Otherwise it is possible to put it upside down
The one in the front is stuck with double sided tape and 2 pins also, only these pins having 2 clips on the inside only to reach by taking of the front bumper. (the N logo the same)
They wil break when you try lose them.

looks a right pain to mask up, but I'll give it a go
Do not use masking tape with the PlastiDip. The plastic spray will react with the paint on your car and you will remove paint. Use something other than masking tape. It comes off the paint surface really easy otherwise. Use wd40 for excess, it will not hurt your paint.
