Are there any i30n hatch vs Sedan (Elantra N) performance comparisons?

I've been curious to see what the differences are between the i30n hatch and Sedan (Elnantra N). Is the Elantra N more capable around a track? Is there any good comparison articles/video's on the two?

Should think they were pretty much the same.

The problem is the Elantra looks horrible compared to the i30N Hatch.

The Americans were literally falling over themselves to get a GR Corolla, which was pretty sad considering they get the Golf R in a manual and we don't. They don't get the i30N hatch over there or they wouldn't bother with the GR Corolla, I certainly didn't when I discovered the i30N.

Hyundai don't promote the car enough over here, I didn't know it even existed until I began searching for a new car option on Google, there are hardly any sold over here. I had written off a FWD only car because all my experience was based on an open diff Ford made in 1984 and it wasn't until you research the E-Diff from a technical perspective that you are prepared to move away from the Subaru AWD or a RWD car like the MR2 Turbo.

In Australia, the sedan is called the i30 Sedan N. There are several videos that claim the sedan is faster on a track than the hatch due to its slightly lighter weight and good balance on its newer chassis/platform.

This is what I've heard, but I'm curious as to what the real world difference is. Are we talking a second a lap, or is it like a tenth.

Real world difference in time is likely to be small and will of course depend on the track itself and the driver.
The cars have a different feel due to the platform difference even though they share the same engine and transmission specs.
Google i30N sedan N and you will find some material.
Is the sedan now being offered in RSA?

No it's not. I have the hatch, just been curious as to what improvements have been made.

The range offered Down Under is as per this review.
A couple of observations regarding the review: the i30 Sedan N depicted in the presentation slides is the i30 N Fastback, not the i30 Sedan N. The i30 Sedan N is shown in the photos.
The i30 Sedan N has Michelin PS4S tyres as standard here, not Pirellis like the other N models.
