Hi all. Just got the newly restocked ADP unlock box. I am going to install it when I have time to also do the Musway amp since they are in the same neighborhood. Looks like kinda a PITA to install. The passenger rear seat and a couple seatbelts need to be removed to get to the amp anf ADP box. Doable for some/most, but the idea of "plug and play" also means removing half the rear seat and a couple of the seatbelts. Just sayin.............

Did the install earlier this week. The online video instructions for both pieces cover just about everything you need to know/do. A couple things; I got caught up when first testing the breakout box. When I hooked the battery back up and turned on the car, NO ACTIVE SOUND AT ALL!!!!!! Oh no WTF did I just do? Had to bail to inside and check the interwebs. Somehow in clicking around I (re) discovered that the sounds do not work in ECO or Normal modes. When the battery was reconnected, the thing booted up in NORMAL mode.....no sounds. Switched to SPORT and everything is cool. Just thought that might HBO. Also, not that the Musway is installed, the sorry rear sub is showing its price point. Mission creep, anyone?

A few things on that:-
1). I'm sure I saw on the YouTube review of this is that the latest version of this ADP unlock box does work on all drive modes so you should get maximum sound in Eco, Normal and Sport as well as N mode if N-Active Sound is activated on all modes.
2). This ADP unlock box is currently only compatible with North American spec cars. As far as I have read, it hasn't to date been tested on European spec cars... so anyone in the UK for example wanting to spend £500 getting one of those in... there is a good chance it won't work on your 5N.
3). It's definitely NOT compatible with the 6N.
