No one helped me with exhaust questions - https://n-cars.net/forums/threads/exhaust-change-few-questions.5108/ but I made a decisiond and.......

Few things to do in this month:

1 - Middle of may - car wraping continue
2 - End of may - GPF BACK system from RCP Exhaust 76mm
3 - End of may - HDT flexpipe 76mm
4 - End of may - HDT Dummy GPF 76mm
5 - First days of june - another dyno tests and ecu improvement

I will stay with oem downpipe for a while.

Good news - tomorrow I'm going for new exhaust (car will be there for about 3 days)
Bad news - still waiting for new flexpipe and dummy gpf from HDT (they are still in production)

So for now - after mounting GPF-BACK exhaust I need to wait for HDT parts and then again give my car to my mechanician to swap them. After that - again to the dyno for some tuning and check what they will give me.
I'm waiting for 16 days (12 working days) for those HDT parts. Still no info about ready or shipped.

Ahhh... bought two of those....

Another bad info.
Today I gave my car for making GFP-BACK exhaust.
After i left it I got mail info - my exhaust will be not 76mm = 3" but 70mm = 2,75".
So.....I'm totally devastated because I ordered Flexpipe and dummy GPF in 76-76mm in/out.
For now I don't know what it will be with whole exhaust - here is the quick schema:
66-rcp_turbo-back_hyundai-n-2.jpg
I'm afraid that there will be problem with connecting dummy gpf with middle part of new exhaust.
I marked this connection with red circles.

For now (one or two weeks) the new exhaust will be connected to OEM downpipe, OEM flexpipe and OEM GPF.
When flexpipe and dummy GPF will arrive from HDT - new exhaust will be connected to them.
But what about that 76mm to 70mm connection ? There will be 6mm deficit or small flow disorder ?

You are worried about wrong things, if you learned physics at school, you should know that hot exhaust gases tend to cool, as they move forward. As the exhaust gases cool down by moving inside of your exhaust system, its volume also decreases.
I have 3,5" to 3" downpipe, 3" flex pipe and 2,75" cat-back under my car and there are no problems at all.
But once when you will manage to receive your parts from HDT, I am 100% sure that RCP can make you smooth wall reducer from 3" to 2,75"

I'm not talking about gas temperatures but flow disorder when going from 3" to 2,75" without any bezel in pipe.
There will be inside a small 6mm "step" or "wall" around the pipe.
They misleaded me saying the gpf-back will be 76mm and I ordered 76mm flex and dummy gpf.
And now it is too late to change my dummy gps to 76-70mm which would solve my problem.
So...yes - after I will receive HDT parts all in 76-76mm I need to think about new center part of "new exhaust" from 76 to 70mm.

I'm half way with my new exhaust.
before.jpgafter.jpg
Those new black 115mm tips are not the exhaust tips I wanted so I need to wait for new ones.
I need to back to RCP and install flex, dummy and tips with small modification of center pipe.
As you know center pipe is 70mm and HDT flex and dummy will be 76mm so I need to have small profile change of the pipe.

If we talk about sound - hard to say I'm fully happy.
The sound is more serious or let's say deeper. How to compare it with oem - once my friend told me that my oem exhaust on low gear or when the car just stand is like small motorboat making bubbles.
Now it is deeper sound but I think it is harder to shot from the pipe.
On oem exhaust I can shoot from 2,5-3k rpms on first gear almost anytime I wanted. Now it is shooting about 4-5k rpm and any lower it just "burping". But when it shoot - is more like gunshot - lots of people turning around and check what is going on.

My final opinion about exhaust will be after mounting last parts but still don't know when.
Maybe 1-2 weeks of waiting more.

Two more gadgets during the change of exhaust parts.

Two of the HDT parts are on the way to me so I made an appointment in Hyundai service to install them on 10th june.
Those parts are long awaited flexpipe and dummy gpf. Then the same day last dyno test and maybe some changes in ecu.
If there still will be about 285-295hp and not 300hp+ I will order new downpipe to make it happend.
Next step is 18th june - correction of center exhaust pipe to make it smoothly connect to the 76mm parts (pipe is 70mm).
I'm still thinking about HDT downpipe 200 cpi with HJS ECE Euro 6 and 89-76mm dimension but had a lot of waiting problems with HDT and now saw that downpipe is 21 workdays of waiting.
I will think about it after dyno test...
