TarmoT 385bhp/526Nm i30ntracktoy - SOLD

Yes - everything is still stock... but not for long time ;)
There will be forged pistons, rods, ARP bolts and upgrade valves also coming soon.
What's your target of bhp and nm?

I have one target only - that car will be able to drink all what upgrade fuel pumps are giving now. I will aim magical 400 mark but I will be not sad if we will manage to end by making solid 380bhp with lower boost (more safe for engine) than we used to have with stage1,5 turbocharger. After more serious rebuild will be done in the end of season, we will try how much power and torque that "potato" can actually make.

Because some things are not going as planed, shit happens sometimes.
On 01.04 I wrote to company called Gruppenszwang thru FB messinger about their 3” turbo inlet adaptor. They respond me same day and wrote that they does not have it in stock but they can make me one with one week. I made order same day and paid more than 150€ same day. On 15.04 I wrote them again and asked about my order - no response. On 20.04 I wrote again and ask if there is a possibility to get some feedback. They wrote me back that part is ready for shipping and there was a delay because of their supplier (hose clamps). I thanked them for feedback and started to wait SMS from DHL. On 25.04 I wrote again and asked about status of shipment - no answer again. Yesterday I asked my friend to contact with them (he has straight contact with Lars, who runs that business) and they wrote to my friend that they have problem with DHL who does not pick up packages and also that he responded to my message (he didn’t). Because they didnt respond to my message even today, I made post to my FB page and taged them. He started to write me 10-minutes after that and instead of telling me that he is sorry about current situation, he started to blame me, DHL and German Post. He also wrote me that I should have been communicating them thru e-mail and not by FB messinger but it is the way how we started to communicate each other. Also he wrote that he is so busy man that he does not have time to read FB messages. He wrote me that he will send me money back if I will delete my FB post. Because I dont like companies who act like this and will never tell you that they made a mistake, I asked them to keep money I paid them and promised to not delete my FB page.
So, I will not recommend to deal with that company or if people want to buy something from them, they should be ready for delays and 0 customer support.

Hi TarmoT,
unfortunately this confirms how "bad" this company does business. In our local N-Thusiast Group (Northern Germany) we have about 5 different people who now complained about the unprofessional way Lars from Gruppenzwang is running his business. His products are produced well and the quality seems to be fine. It seems to be the business side of things that just does not work out. He recently introduced a different ordering model, where people could pay 60€ on top to get their product faster. However he is already struggling to supply the "normal" buyers and many people who opted for this 60€ excess did not get their shipment in the advertised time frame. Sorry to high jack your post, but I really cannot keep my mouth shut reading your post about it. Thanks for "publishing" it on Facebook as well. Many other guys who did it as well had been contacted by Lars privately to take down their posting.

I wrote to HDT-Motorsport today and hopefully they can help me with that:
I need only that alum part because silicone hose does not work with my aFe intake.
So lets hope that they can provide me one ASAP

That is exactly the experience about Lars that you can hear on social media. One of my friends had to wait 4 months for his tailpipes. The problem is that he welds everything himself and his girlfriend helps him a little with the sales. But by mouth marketing what happens in the big N groups on Facebook, he just gets too many orders. And instead of introducing an order stop and processing everything, he would rather offer express delivery at horrific prices.
I can only recommend the work and service from Heiko (HDT Motorsport). You are in much better hands there.

Well gentlemen, on this "Lars topic", I placed my order on 28/01 for some tailpipes and got them mid April. In this interval I sent him I think 2/3 emails (not angry, just to check the status of the order) and in the last one he said something like "Your order is still on hold to be produced, when is ready to be shipped we will inform you", at this point I gave up and waited silent. To be fair, he says on the item's description "30-45 business days" and some "45-60 business days" which will lead roughly on the date I had mine, and taking into account all this covid situation, can't say I got hurt. Not the best thing "the waiting game" but the material seams good and they arrive all wrapped up and in perfect conditions. The business he runs needs to have more people on it, the amount of orders he receives must be ridiculous and letting this sit on 1 man alone.... big risk, not to mention the new feature the "express delivery" which is just pure joke, but in the end everything worked out, for me at least.

On those advertised waiting times: He changes these frequently. A few weeks back the advertised waiting time was 7 business days and my friend was waiting 2 months before he got his. After he got the first bad reviews on social media he changed them, but they are still nowhere close to the actual timespan you have to wait for your product.

But enough on that topic, let's give TarmoT his thread back ;)

AHAHAH 7 business days is priceless!!
Agreed, back to TarmoT 👍

Yesterday managed to get back Hyundai from workshop. It took longer than expected but I was ready for that. First it came out that exhaust manifold gasket was also required and it took couple of days to be delivered. After turbocharger was installed and guys started my car first time, they discover pretty bad fuel leak from HPFP hose what was provided with upgrade pump. Because German Post works very slow, it took 1,5-weeks before replacement hose arrived.
Yesterday I managed to finish my aFe intake installation, by adding HDT turbo inlet adaptor and connecting both parts with universal 90-degrees 3" silicone hose.
Today I will try to replace all fuel lines and clamps of my upgrade low pressure fuel pump, charge and install back LiteBlox battery and hopefuly next week, I can give car over to my tuner again.

And now small offtopic:

Most of people already know that I bought another daily driver some time ago and only fiew that I paid deposit for one more car - Toyota Yaris GR4.

Regarding my Megane RS Trophy, I have made decision to keep cars warranty and do not make any mods, what might avoid it. So most of things I have done are so called "All show - no go" :)
I wrapped all chrome parts, headlamps, front badge, rear badge, rear lights, exhaust cover inside of rear diffusor and roof black. Installed Eibach springs and Forzza 19" wheels with Michelin PS4 s tyres and added Maxton front lip and rear spoiler extenion. RCP made me also new GPF-back exhaust.
Because it takes much more time than expected, I can not still use Hyundai on track days and trainings. So I bought set of 8,5x18" ET45 Autec Club Racing wheels, painted wheels black and installed 255/35 R18 Extreme VR2 semi slick tyres.

Well it would be unfrair calling the Megane "all show and no go" when regardless of the mods it's probably faster then 95% of the cars on the road :)
