Will mud flaps stop the typical horrendous muck up the back of the car as well?

It made a slight difference on my Focus ST's... but not a lot to be honest.

PS. I found it much easier to fit the rear ones with wheels off. I seem to remember the instructions recommend this. Fronts are easy enough with the wheels just turned in as far as they will go. Plenty of access then.

I didn't have to mate you just need a right angle ratchet screw driver.

Always use an offset ratchet wrench. This way you can get at the nuts without wheel removal. They work great and everyone who does this kind of tight work, should have a set in their tool box.

Fair enough. But a two minute job to remove the wheel if you have a garage and a trolley jack. Gives you much better access. And any one who works regularly on their own car no doubt has one

I feel like such an old man now. I took delivery of my i30N in April 2018, I believe it was the first i30N delivered in Queensland, Australia. It now has over 25K on the clock, I have had ZERO issues, other than some really minor stuff, so all is good in my i30N world!

Hyundai Australia have NEVER offered mudflaps for the N, I bought a set for the regular i30 and modified them to fit, but they are pathetic, and offer little or no protection.

Me, being a cheap arse, bought the "basic" Rallyarmour flaps for about $60 AUD. (LONG before the other company came out with CUSTOM flaps cut to size with mounting fittings and 3 times the price).

The instructions on where to cut them, and how to fit them is all in the how-to, and trust me, you do not need to be a brain surgeon to fit them, most of the holes are there already, the other holes are easy to drill, and the mudflaps have been on my car for 19 months now.

The crap coming off the road is way less, I pulled them off last week to check what was sitting behind them, and it was virtually nothing, so I was really happy. So much so, I recently installed the same flaps onto my wife's Cerato GT (Forte, K3)

Yes, it does give MY car a "rally car" look, something I don't mind, and other people have noticed and liked. There is always the option to move the holes "outward" by 10 to 15mm which will pull the mudflaps "in" by 10 - 15mm, giving a LESS rally look, and offering slightly less protection. Remember I also have 8.5" rims with +44 offset, so MY wheels sit 17mm further out than the OEM wheels, the crap coming off the outside of the wheels is much more likely to hit the bodywork. Pull the holes in by 15 mm from my drill points and they will NOT look so rally inspired.

You can mount them with the logo backwards if you like it, or forward if you want a stealth look. They extend well into the wheel wheel, so the crap on the rear of the car is reduced, but I have always found the exhaust pipes create most of the crap on the back of the car, not road rubbish.

Anyone got a picture of these fitted to a Polar White I30 N ?

I've used both the RallyFlaps and then the Rally Armour ones on the two Ford Focus ST's that I had previously. Must admit that I found the Rally Armour ones had a much better fitting kit but were VERY expensive (mine had the Mountune logo on them).

That's me decided. I'll order up a set of Rally Armor ones once funds allow. The red lettering goes nicely with the other red highlights on the car.

Still reeling from having to change one of the front tyres after clipping a pot hole on the way home from picking the Hyundai up. It wasn't even that big a pot hole. Could not miss it due to oncoming traffic on a fairly narrow road. Luckily wheel not damaged by the look of it.

Good news on easy to fit, what was involved? How do they attach?

Front ones about 2 minutes per side, just turn onto full lock and use a stubby Phillips head screw out the existing screws put the on the flap and replace the screws,the back ones you have to take the wheels of ,but again just unscrew the existing screws the only hole you have make is the far inside and then you just have to screw through the plastic inner guard , the longest time involved is jacking the car up.

Might get a set of four "N" decals to stick one on each flap. Wonder if they would stay stuck!?

At least they seem to do free postage on orders over £100 now. I checked my previous order and look to have ended up paying £20+ postage!

They are the UK distributor for Rally Armor.

Not sure about "N" decals on them, there isn't really room tbh.

Oh and forgot to add that they come with silver screws which really annoys me lol. I fitted black plastic screw head 'caps' that I fortunately had kicking around from when I fitted my RS flaps. Just something to consider if your are ocd-ish.

Got my rallyflapZ on this weekend. Here's a couple of pics.

Id say 70% less mud added to the side and back of the car on the way back from fitting them (had to borrow my friends good car jack - 1 hour drive - yes back wheels ideally come off to do it) than on the way there.

Car was cleaned day before so was a good scientific test.

Result! and they look good to me.

I also got mine this weekend but I didn't have for photos :/

My first impressions are the same + they are quite long and scrape a lot when passing high speed-humps and when driving onto a curb. Mostly when backing to a parking spot which is a prefered way with our turning circle.

So far I'm really happy with them. I think the look cool and doesn't stand out that much as I was worried.

Agree PaZeRa they are a little longer on than I imagined, not heard them scrape yet although might be handy when parking and reduce alloy damage. Plus hopefully keep even more muck contained.

Good choice. I've not seen any better ones out there yet. But I've not actually seen them in the flesh, either. Even their own website doesn't show really clear images of them installed.

Better ones were just released! However, they are not available thru Rally Armor - due to the N logo, the products are made to order for Hyundai. Seems Canada only for now unless you guys need help in getting a dealer to send them over - can def help with that on my side of the Pond.

they are 100% OEM and don't require any drilling into anything - the included hardware creates the mounting points needed to be completely reversible without any trace of ever being installed.

Fitted the Rally Armor ones the other day. Slightly smaller than the ones that I had fitted on the Focus ST (Rally Armor as well). Possibly because the I30 N sits lower to the ground than the Focus ST. I think they look pretty decent.

Now I know that I'm going to sound a bit anal here... While the rear ones fit perfectly. The front ones don't quite hang perfectly perpendicular to the ground. On closer inspection, it's because the side skirt wraps round under the wheel arch slightly, causing the flaps to stick out slightly towards the wheel as you tighten the screws up. If you look at the fitment document, the pictures show a car without side skirts. I double checked that I had fitted them 100% correctly, which I had. Not a bit deal, when you stand back you can't really notice it. I suspect that it's because these mud flaps look to be designed to fit more than one car.

Not a complaint. Just thought that I would share

PS. The other car that these flaps is supposed to fit, is the Hyundai Elantra. And that doesn't look to have any sort of side skirt.
