Really hoping your dealer helps you out and gets your car working like the rest of the N's on here. You shouldn't have to push your car to that sort of fuel economy for it to be fun

if you get 4 bangs your cars not running right i would have it checked the timing is preset you should not get more then the 3 as a max

Also that article advised the newer cars can turn off the Energy braking hope that an update for us
So I took her out for another go today and still the same, had it running hot, one huge crack in 1st gear at 5k and shift lights are on, 2nd a slight pop, nothing after that, still nothing on downshift, not happy, it’s going in for a first service tomorrow, I’ll tell them about it but I’m sure they won’t be able to do anything, hopefully Hyundai can come up with a software update because there is definitely a problem somewhere..

I’m not fussed by pops and bangs, they don’t interest me! I’d have happily had a car without them - our other car is like this, demo popped and banged, ours never has done but it burbles more which I prefer!
I'm not too fussed about the pops and crackles but I love that burbling noise!
Well I need more than I’m getting, mine burbles nicely tho, especially in normal mode for some reason, which surprises me, but I just needs some pops now, I’m not stressing yet, if we can land probes on mars them I’m sure they can find a way to make my exhaust pop like it’s supposed to do, can’t be that hard to fix..

This is exactly the 4 bang sound I mentioned
I'm not sure how often it happens though. Will have to keep an ear out.
