I live in Adelaide right at the foot of the highway that leads up into the hills. It's got cameras, trucks and cars everywhere and I hate it!
The other day I got a call from my ex who had broken down a couple minutes drive up the freeway and she asked if I could help her get to her destination.
I drove her up the old stretch of highway which is now pretty much abandoned. I couldnt believe it my eyes. It's the sickest windiest and nastiest bit of road and a bad history for crashes back in the day. Trucks would burn their brakes out regularly because of the steep descent and there are 2 hairpin corners that got the nickname "The Devil's Elbow".
I do drive trucks but am also the owner of a new i20N and the only thing you have to watch out for up there is wildlife like Deer and Kangaroos! I do hot laps now with the stopwatch on and just got back...you should see my N grin right now
Now I got my own personal race track just 2 minutes up the road. Quick shout out to Mr Albert Bierman.. love your work mate

Added the Zunsport lower grill - not cheap but surprisingly nicely made. I didn’t like the white on the Zunsport badge so wrapped it in some left over vinyl.
Hi n started taking longer to start fuel smell also once or twice after long journey dealer can't find anything any ideas much appreciated.
You are most welcome. I took a few because I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality.
I’ve had a light tint done to my front windows too - just to even out the colour difference between the front and back a bit. I’ll take some pictures tomorrow. The chap who did the job was fantastic and couldn‘t have done a better job!

with the tint to the front windows. From an angle the tint looks darker than it is.
Yesterdays mod, the addition of courtesy lights, or puddle lights as they are often called. I got these from AliExpress for about £6.00. You can get two basic types, one that sticks to your door card and uses batteries, but these are the ones that fit internally and are wired to the doors existing lighting. You can get them with various projected logo styles - all red, outlined in blue, all white etc.

I do, but the buyer I got mine from doesn’t actually list the N logo as an option, I had to message him and request it (I did that because, at that time, there weren’t many people selling them). All the other options I described are from different sellers. I’ve had these for a few months now and what’s available tends to vary from month to month. if you go to AliExpress and search for “Hyundai door lights” its should find all the available options.
Got Home, noticed this on the dash, so "Today I have run-in my N"
Today I did two mods, 1/ I fitted the ITG induction kit and 2/ I fitted the front suspension brace.
Woke up,Drove it out of the tight Garage.
Drove to work,worked for 7h.
Brother wanted a ride in my new car so he said to me for pick up in the middle of the city
After work went to the location,and towards there on a Traffic light I turned on the Custom N mode
Engine was running smoothly and at optimal 50°C
Picked them up in the middle of the city where there was lots of people.
(My Brother and his Best friend loved the car so much,especially the exhaust)
Drove towards his home,on one stretch of road it goes from 1 lane to 2 lanes
Too many on the Far left lane...soooo I overtook like 6 cars at once that could not speed up
From the Traffic light when accelerating it was shaking as if the wheels were sliding I believe.
On the highway meet one of my neighbour that I overtook,man loved how it sounded too.
Drove towards my brother home,he remember that he needs to buy food,so we went shopping for food
They ask many questions of my car and its features,I do tell em all I know from driving my i30N for 2 weeks now
They take some pictures and videos of the Exhaust loudness (I dont like reving her while not warmed up and stationary)
I drive them yet again towards home,but my brothers friend needs money for some reason,so I drive em to the nearest ETM (More excuses to drive longer whit me)
There I fines drove my i30N around the sharp,narrow and dangerously close German old city streets.
I drive them home this time (Was exhausted from all the driving/talking)
Drive towards home in normal mode (after it reset from the store we drove off)
Nothing much of a hard drive as I just wanted to enjoy the ride and not be a fool on the road,and sure destiny gave me a Green Wave and I arrived at my Garage
Parking it for at least a lot of time,but this time it was whit a bit more re-tries as I was exhausted.
And End of Day with my car
Burned like 10L of 98 octane.
At least I got some Free stuff from all the Groceries my brother and his Best friend bought for themself.
Drove to work,worked for 7h.
