What car did you come from?

My history since 1995 (almost 25 years, gulp):

Ford Fiesta MK2 1.1 "Firefly"
Renault 19 1.4 GTS-X Chamade (the absolute worst car I've had)
Peugeot 106 XSi
Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport 8v
Seat Ibiza Cupra 20vt (heavily modded by the end)
Toyota MR-2 Roadster (also modded)
Nissan 350Z Coupe (296bhp version)
Ford Focus MK2.5 ST-2
Renault Clio RS200
Suzuki Swift Sport (ZC32S)
Ford Fiesta MK7 ST-2
Ford Focus MK3.5 ST-3
Ford Focus MK3 RS Mountune M380
VW Golf MK7.5 R
Hyundai i30N Performance

All manuals, clean license (somehow), only one been off the road after a "bump" (Mid engine and RWD + diesel on road = Brown trouser time).

Ones I genuinely miss are the MR-2 and the Swift Sport, the ones with the most character/fun factor.

2013 2010 987.2 Boxster (PDK) (Joint Favourite)
2017 2015 M135i (Least favourite, interior lovely but driving it left me cold as I couldn't tell what it was doing)
2018 2011 987.2 Boxster
2019 2019 i30 Fastback N Shadow Grey (1st FWD car which I am slightly sad about to break the RWD series but blessed with a baby daughter and love this car to bits may become a favourite over the years we shall see)

A little bit embarrassing this lot but here goes
Fiat 128 - fell apart with rust.
Mini clubman - fun but problematic.
Toyota Corolla Executive - quality but dull to drive
Citreon zx - actually a good car, trouble free.
Skoda fabia vrs - surprisingly fun, but had its fair share of expensive problems.
Renault Megane tourer - electrical nightmare.
Nissan Qashqai - worst of the lot, riddled with problems.
wife and I still own a citreon C1 - perfect city car, no issues, had it 5 1/2yrs
i30N - Awesome! I feel lucky to own this car. Makes me smile every time I look at it.
In my defence before the i30N I’ve always owned motorcycles to get my fix for fun.

Respect! That is quite a list. B5 RS4 Avant is one of my all-time faves. What better way to get the Mrs and kids screaming on the way home from Ikea?

The B5 was an absolute weapon. Remapped by Viper Tuning with a Milltek catback and a few other mods (all done before I bought it). Coming on-boost in second gear halfway round a roundabout certainly kept me and the quattro system awake.

A quick clip taken by the previous owner:

No Austin Maestro though mate. That lets you down I'm afraid.
