VW Golf 4 1.2 - Great car, I also drove quite long, until someone drove into my side and fled.

The vehicle looks very cool, and was ahead of its time. As you can see, it has an important safety feature, a lap belt.
First i am thinking i wear a racing harness . But after closer inspection i believe it is an fastening for a type of leash .
Nevertheless, by my smile you can see that I already had something left for sporty cars back then .

I'll show my age too with my car history!

1984 Austin Maestro 1.3
1981 Ford Escort 1.3
1989 VW Polo 1.3CL
1993 Ford Fiesta XR2i 1.8
1994 Honda Civic ESi
2001 VW Lupo GTI
2004 Seat Toledo TDI 150

Gap of a few years when I had no car as I could walk to work (so drove my wife's 2007 Seat Leon FR TDI and 2012 Seat Leon Cupra R)

2014 Ford Fiesta Ecoboost 100
2005 Volvo C70 GT cabriolet (still got)
2019 Hyundai i30N Fastback

Also had a 1989 VW T25 camper for a couple of years. That was fun.

Nice thread! Here are mine:

2013 Ford Fiesta ST - amazing car. no issues. a few small accidents normal for a new driver.
2014 Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy - extremely rare and good looking but had more issues than I can count.
2016 Infiniti Q50 2.0t (I don't know what was going through my head) - solid car but ride was too firm for the class and the technology was too outdated.

Traded in the Q50 for my i30N 2 weeks ago. Couldn't be happier!
Here are pics of all 4 cars:
